Hair
Wear the company provided shirt, or a long or
short sleeved shirt of similar color and style. You
may wear long sleeved shirts neatly cuffed at the
elbow, or the shirt untucked. All shirts must be
clean, pressed, appropriately sized, and in good
condition. All shirts must be worn buttoned up
(except the top button). T-shirts or undergarments
worn underneath must not contain any decals or
writing which are visible through the outer shirt.
Black, closed-toe shoes in good condition must be
worn. Non-skid soles should be worn for safety.
Hair must be appropriate for a business setting –
clean and neat; no extreme hairstyles or hair
colors. Long hair must be arranged so it is off the
face and will not come in contact with any food
handled.
Outerwear
Solid royal blue sweaters, sweatshirts, and jackets
may be worn for weather and working conditions.
No hooded sweaters/jackets are permitted.
Pants
Business appropriate blue jeans are preferred.
Black pants may also be worn.
► Minimal fading on jeans is allowed. No other
colors are allowed. Jeans must be made of a
denim material. Leggings or sweatpants that look
like jeans are not allowed (e.g., “jeggings,”
“pajama jeans”).
► Pants must not be distressed, wrinkled, torn or
frayed. Sweat, stretch, oversized, baggy, corduroy
or knit pants are not allowed.
► Waistband levels must be business appropriate (i.e., not too low).
► Pant leg must reach the top of the shoe; Capri
jeans are not allowed.

Athletic shoes (e.g., sneakers) in good condition are
acceptable provided they are solid black.
The soles or heels of the shoes must not exceed 1½
inches. Sandals and open-toe/open-back shoes are
not allowed. - Socks are required with all shoes.
Jewelry
Any jewelry worn must be safe and appropriate for job
duties. Minimal small to moderately sized exposed
body-piercing jewelry is allowed. Jewelry considered
offensive to customers or employees is prohibited (e.g.
containing offensive slogans, obscene words or explicit
phrases or images).
Jewelry that may pose a safety risk is prohibited,
including exposed necklaces, long dangling earrings,
and bracelets or large rings that could get caught in
equipment. Keep necklaces tucked inside of clothing
for safety purposes.
Aprons, Hats & Name Badges
Aprons, name badge, hat and hairnet to cover long hair
will also be provided.
Mustaches, beards and goatees are permitted –
clean, neat and trimmed; no extreme or
unconventional styles.
In food preparation areas (i.e., Bakery,
Meat/Seafood departments):
► Wear your Company hat or a hairnet.
► Hair longer then your shirt collar must be
covered by a hairnet.
► Facial hair below the upper lip of the mouth
and below the earlobes must be covered by a
beard net.
Cosmetics
When cosmetics are worn, the application must
be appropriate for a business setting. Cologne,
perfume or any other body scents may be lightly
applied and must not be offensive to other
employees
Tattoos
Tattoos appropriate for a business setting are
allowed. Tattoos on the face, or tattoos
considered offensive to customers or employees
are prohibited (e.g., containing offensive slogans,
obscene words or explicit phrases or images).
