TREND BOOK GH 2013-ADULTS
THE ITALIAN HOME
The inspiration for this seasons collection is the Baldini family
who have inhabited a spectacular home in Bologna, Italy for
several generations.
This summer we had the privilege to receive a private tour
of this magnificent estate by the Baldinis in person. We
were fascinated by their Archaic roots which span over five
centuries, and the impressive collections of both mr. and mrs.
Baldini.
Mr baldini has a great passion for Motor-bikes. His interest has
driven him to compile and ensemble a vast collection including
motto Guzzi’s, BMW’s and Kawasaki’s.
Mrs. Baldini is a great art collector with a wide knowledge and
a sharp eye for aesthetics. With such an inspiring couple it
wasn’t difficult to get swept away by their passion for life and
for one another.
They inspired us to create themes for the 2013 FW collection
like “The Motorist”, “The Travellers” and “The Love Story”.
With this inspiration we designed the a collection which is
clear, but with the character and egde which we are looking for.
Our Silhouettes & shapes contain the distinctive handwriting of
the brand, with intriguing surprises.
The evolution of our denim collection is strong, steady & visual.
Key silhouettes for women this season are beautiful soft
padded inner jackets all-over printed. Or denim jackets with
black coated sleeves. Inner jackets are very important, those
are the styles that make your outfit personal. Of course we
have the metal coated and printed skinny’s. You’ll find special
details in knit, various mixes of wovens and knit and special
details on the back.
For men the key looks are casual smart, the sport-blazer
(2buttons), y-neck button t-shirt and selvedge rinse slim-fit
jeans. We bring Aviator cotton parka, casual multi color yarndye shirts and vintage treated jersey sweat with an old school
washed tapered jeans.
