The new network print and scan ready e-STUDIO255/305 and e-STUDIO355/455 series of MFPs offer
efficient, fast and reliable departmental systems encompassing the latest Toshiba e-BRIDGE
3 technology.
Thanks to the newly developed 3rd
generation Toshiba e-BRIDGE 3
technology, many useful functions
of the e-STUDIO255/305 and
e-STUDIO355/455 series of MFPs are
readily accessible from the user
interface. The new colour scanning
technology produces high quality
mono copies and prints in addition
to colour scan images that can
be emailed or stored. The new
systems integrate effortlessly into
networks and workflows
to comply with the
highest
security
and
environmental
standards.
User Friendly Operation
The 8.5” WVGA colour touch screen
control panel with a new user
interface and ‘My Menu’ function
makes for easy, intuitive and
customisable operation. Using the
embedded between the MFP and
Finishing unit.
e-Filing document server you can
securely store, recompile and print
documents on demand. Templates
allow for error-free handling as well as
time saving one-touch operation of
recurring tasks. The easy access of
the USB port on the front panel allows

Security
Toshiba have designed the latest B&W
e-STUDIO range with security in mind to
satisfy the most stringent of requirements.
The essential security functions including
built in firewalls and secure pdf functions
restrict access to the system along with the
AES encryption and optional data
overwrite kit, whilst transmissions are
secure thanks to SSL and optional
IPSec support. These new systems also
include a Hold Print function that saves
the print job on the MFP until it is
released by the user saving paper for
unwanted jobs and adding confidentiality
as print jobs are not left at the MFP. Where
passwords are in operation on an MFP the
associated data is now sent encoded
opposed to plain text, adding to the
security functions on this series of MFPs.

Accessibility
Accessibility and ease of use is
crucial especially for wheelchair users
which is why Toshiba are offering this
series with an extendable arm. The
arm is linked to the side of the
document feeding unit which makes
opening and closing so much easier
and ensures that the processes
involving the platen glass are not
inhibited.
Toshiba is dedicated to making the most
Eco friendly products and this range is no
exception. Toshiba have introduced a
‘Super Sleep Mode’ which runs with a
power supply of just 1 watt. If you couple
the super sleep mode with the timed on/off
functionality you will be saving pounds on
electricity in addition to carbon emissions!
The internal toner recycling re-uses excess
toner that is produced during the
production of your prints meaning that
there is no ‘waste toner’ produced. Whilst
the outside erase function allows you to
save toner in copy/scan mode when you
are taking an image of a book that has a
‘shadow’ effect in the margins. The ‘Omit
Blank Pages’ function removes blank
pages from print/scan jobs which protects
paper and helps to save the environment.
