Carekits accessible
bathroom solutions
The Carekit™ range provides complete
accessible bathroom solutions which comply
with AS1428.1-2009 AND 2010 amendments and
the Building Code of Australia, on a ‘deemed
to satisfy’ basis for builders, architects,
designers, facility managers and those with
the responsibility to meet the provisions of
the Premises Standard.
We have combined the necessary elements for an accessible public
facility into kits for ease of ordering and to eliminate the hassle of
ordering separate items from various suppliers running the risk
of non-compliance.

Each of the Carekit elements are designed to address Premises
Standard requirements. We have done the hard work for you
and made sure they will satisfy AS1428.1-2009 and 2010 amendments.
We have grouped the products into eight different kits offering
S or P trap toilets and right or left wash basin shelf space as
well as a selection of thermostatic and non-thermostatic tapware.

Carekits ELEMENTS
Each kit is delivered as a package with installation instructions making it easy to provide a public
accessible toilet that will meet the standards.
TOILETS
Choose from S or P Trap
The IFO increased height 4.5/3L, 4 Star rated toilet, addresses the
requirements for a backrest by way of using the cistern which has
been tested to 110Kg lateral weight in either direction due to its
unique design and therefore replaces the requirement for a separate
independent backrest.
Pressalit Care Dania grey toilet seat features heavy-duty stainless steel
hinges and adjustable buffers to combat lateral movement. Weight
load rated to a maximum of 250kg.
GRAB RAILS
Choose from White or Stainless Steel
The grab rails configurations are made from 32 mm stainless
steel and are fully compliant with AS1429.1-2009 and 2010
amendments. The flexible design of the grab rails allows
installation for both right and left hand layouts.
BASINS
Choose from 600 or 770mm basins and right or left bowl
TAPS
Your choice of electronic, sequential thermostatic
or extended lever mixers.
There are different taps available in the range and
they complement the basins and other elements
ensuring total solution offerings that are WaterMark
Certified and WELS Registered.

The IFO basins have a reversed bowl to increase the user
space. The basins are also glazed under and over providing
extra protection against bacteria growth.

A comprehensive installation guide is supplied with all
Caredesign Carekits.
The complex process of creating a compliant accessible
toilet is detailed in the Australian Standard AS1428.1-2009
and the 2010 amendments.

design assessment and approval by an appropriately qualified
consultant is required to ensure compliance with standards and
