Quik-Latch Air Cleaner Kit
A simple push button in the center of the latch you push with your finger is all you need to
release this fastener. Latching is just as easy as you simply push the air cleaner top over the
ball end stud supplied and the latch captures the ball-stud with a snap and it’s
secure. No tools required to release means no scratching, no loose parts so no
lost fasteners. Measures 1-1/4” O.D. and requires 3/4” hole. Each kit comes
with under side nut, 1/4”-20 x 4” stainless ball stud with jam nut.

Throttle Valve Cable Bracket for Throttle Linkage
Most overdrive transmissions the ‘kickdown’ cable is not for a downshifting but it controls the
upshifting by pulling this cable yielding ‘throttle valve pressure’ to the valve body as the throttle
is opened. These brackets mount to the carburetor linkage arm
and provide a better ratio of increasing throttle valve pressure
cable movement proportional to the amount of throttle opening.

Header Collector Flange Nuts
Wide base flange nuts distribute the clamping force closer to the collector center weld where the real sealing to
the gasket takes place and prevents bending of the collector flange ears. Because of the shape of
these nuts they also hold themselves when tightening or loosening

ARP 5/16” Wrenching Header Bolts
All Bolt Kits Listed Have 3/8”-16 Threads
Miniature headed bolt uses a 5/16” wrench. With this smaller size it is most likely that you can use
a boxed end wrench to tighten all your header bolts. SB Chevy uses 12 bolts, most other engines
use 16 bolts because each exhaust port has two bolts. Most aluminum cylinder heads are drilled
deeper and can use the 1” length. Small O.D. stainless flat washers included.
