Directions to the JATC How to Apply Following are the basic steps of the Application Process: 1. Complete an Application Request Form and return it to the JATC with your $25 application fee. Request forms are available in-person at the JATC (Monday through Friday from 9AM to 2PM) , or on our website: www.mplsjatc.org. 2. Submit required documentation within the 30 day deadline. 3. Take the scheduled Aptitude Test (basic math and reading) and pass with a score of 4 or higher. 4. Complete an oral interview with the Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee. The Electrical JATC school start at 1st period pay. Those with documented Workers (IBEW) Local 292 and the Minneapolis Chapter of Association the National (NECA). The Electrical program Contractors is registered through the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and consists of two components of training: On-The-Job Training is completed by the Apprentice working out in the field with our contractors, and Related Training is completed through classroom and lab education. These classes $0.00 _______________________ Total Wage/Fringe Package per Hour: $26.44 cover a wide range of topics in both lecture and lab settings, and give Apprentices the skills they need to pass their Journeyman Exam with the MN Department of Labor and Industry, and to be successful electricians out in the field. Earn While You Learn Apprentices work full-time with their contractors during the summer months, and four days a week during the school year, September to May.
