Our Mission is to reach and provide educational programming and information with special emphasis on media access for
the black community, and other groups previously unserved by existing radio stations in Austin. KAZI’s format includes news,
public affairs programming, public service information, black history and a diverse array of music.
Introducing the 2nd annual
KAZI Benefit Golf Tournament
April 1st, 2013 at Balcones
Country Club, Austin, Texas.
The event is intended to
provide community support
and recognition for KAZI 88.7
FM, Austin’s premier
community radio station. It
will be a 9 a.m. Shotgun Start
and lunch will be provided
along with gift bags. The
format is a four person
scramble and there will be a
door prize raffle as well as
Closest to the Pin and Long
Drive contests. Hole
sponsorships are available
and all donations are tax
deductible. The costs per
player is $65.00 or $260.00
per four person team in
advance and $70.00 the day

KAZI Austin Community Radio just
celebrated their 30 year anniversary of
providing education, inspiration and
entertainment to the Austin Metro
Community. We are reaching out to
sponsors, both former and future, to
assist in making our annual benefit golf
tournament on April 1, 2013 a much
more enjoyable experience. The
location is Balcones Country Club and
it is a shotgun start at 9:00 am. And the
price is $65.00 per player. ($260.00 per
team) in advance $70.00 per player the
day of the event.
KAZI has been based in the limelight of
Austin’s community since 1982 and has
been recognized as one of the trend
setters in public radio. We pride
ourselves on providing a different
perspective that could only be achieved
through community radio.
