The strange glow you might see coming from the Main Putting Green tonight means something much more ex‐
citing – yes, it’s time for the Glow‐Ball Putting Contest! Because everyone wants to try their hand at this event, it’s been divided into two parts. Older golfers (ages 14‐15) get to go first. The younger golfers (ages 10‐13) will have their turn tomorrow night. The fun gets started at 8 p.m. – don’t forget your putter and your night vision! Page 2 Daily Divot District Winner Banquet: The Bear Trap: A Whole Different Animal A Magical Night Mitch the Magician, who has performed in Las Vegas, and has even appeared in soap operas, left the Dis‐
trict winners and their families with a laugh after din‐
ner last night. After borrowing a $50 bill from one of the Optimist golfers, Mitch made the money disap‐
pear, leaving that golfer a little nervous. Luckily, Mitch used his magic to bring back the money! Then, after some rope tricks performed with a golfer’s dad, Mitch performed the big finale, which included a saw! Thankfully, everyone made it out of the District Winner Banquet safely. Thanks to MoRodz and Golfsmith for sponsoring this year’s District Winner Banquet, and congratulations to the District winners. PGA National is keeping track of results for these three tough holes, and the boys who come out on top for the week will win prizes for surviving the “Battle at the Bear Trap.” Scores are available to the left of the boys 14‐15 overall results on the windows overlooking the Main Putting Green.
