Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is the most common cause of life threatening
infection in newborn babies in the UK. Without preventative medicine, each year
around 700 babies would develop GBS infections – most would recover but sadly
approximately 75 of these sick babies would die and another 40 would survive
with long-term problems. Yet most of these infections could be prevented.
Every purchase you make from this gift catalogue will help fight group B Strep infections in
newborn babies.
All of the profit (and all donations) help fund the charity, Group B Strep Support, which is the only
UK charity focussed on providing
information about GBS to expectant
parents, families affected by GBS
