Our Sports Background
ASSOCIATED SOUND is a Pro Audio Outfitting and
Production Services firm located in Sacramento.
We were founded as a sound rental company in
1968 handling local band gigs and political events.
Over the years we have grown into a full service Pro
Audio and AV company now offering the full design
and integration of audio and visual systems.
We hold a California Contractors License. Our specialties include “turn-key” systems for sports venues,
churches, specialty retail environments, government
facilities and entertainment venues.
The company also continues to
operate one of the area’s largest rental & production services
departments that handles all
types of corporate and community
events. Some examples are the
Shriners Hospital 10th Anniversary and the Bose / Infiniti Tour.
At Associated Sound we have the unique ability to
look at Sports Venues from a user’s standpoint. The
President of the company, Wally Clark, is a holder
of a Lifetime Pass from the Metro League, CIF SacJoaquin Section for his over 41 years of announcing high school football games. Brad Clark our VP,
Anthony Brown and Dave Veden, all have years of
experience in game-day support for California State
University Sacramento, the World League Sacramento Surge, the Sacramento Gold Miners of the
CFL, NCAA Track and Field Championships and
the Olympic Track & Field Trials.
We are proud of our background in sports/game
operations and are certain that we have the unique
experience necessary to design Sports Sound Systems that really work in the real world. Two venues
we are especially proud of are: Raley Field, home of
the Sacramento River Cats and ARCO Arena, home
of the Sacramento Kings.

Giving
Associated Sound has had a long history of Community Service and Charitable Giving. We invite
you to inquire about our programs that encompass everything from charitable discounts on rental
equipment, to the donation of items for auctions, to becoming a recipient from our charitable event;
the Ultimate Clubhouse Sandwich Contest.
All requests need to be in writing. To be considered for rental discounts or auction items please
make your request at least 45 days in advance. This category is open to school and church groups
and 501c3 registered charities.
To be considered as a possible recipient for charitable funds from our annual Ultimate Clubhouse
Sandwich Contest you must be a 501c3 charity. This is an annual event and all requests must
be in writing. The request must provides details on the the charity, who they serve and what the
funds will be used for. Our committee meets several times during the year to review the requests.
Finalists will be notified in writing to come to an interview and discuss their request.
