However, given the greater distances, the often sandy trail conditions, and the complete absence of water in this area, these trails can be quite physically demanding, especially in warm weather. PARKING ss ce Ac Rabbit Valley Trails Getting to the Trailhead Rabbit Valley is near the Colorado/Utah border, so compared to the other mountain biking areas it takes a bit of a drive to get there. From the Horizon Drive in Grand Junction, take I-70 west 29.7 miles to the Rabbit Valley/2 Road exit.
