Network connection?
A network connection is useful when you are ‘streaming’. This

notebook, PC or network-attached storage (NAS) on your TV via
the HD media player. With the EM7280 and EM7285 HD media
players you download directly Torrents and Usenet files from the
Internet to the hard disk without having your computer turned on.
