What is Hannoband made of and how does it work?
• Polyurethane-Polyether Foam
Is impregnated fully and evenly to have
protected cells inside the foam structure

Pre-Compressed
HANNOBAND is supplied in roll format and
is pre-compressed up to five times of the
original form. Once the roll is opened the
tape starts to expand with no assistance

Self-Expanding
The self-expansion of HANNOBAND allows
the material to create a seal in application

 In a conventional data center 35% to 50% of the necessary
electrical energy is being used for cooling
 I.e. an average of 40% is used for cooling and the remaining
60% are used for running the data center
 According to research up to 10% of the energy used for
cooling data centers is lost in not properly sealed raised
floors openings
 Conclusion: 10% Energy loss for cooling purposes reflect
4% of the total energy costs needed to run a data center
