Founded in 1969, TEA has a long history of providing advanced tactical headsets and communication products
to specialized teams within law enforcement and the military. In the early 1980’s, TEA designed and developed
the first tactical throat mic system (LASH®) for use with military and public safety portable radios. Soon after
that TEA began to provide maritime teams the first radio dry bags with fully integrated submersible headsets
and push-to-talk switches that revolutionized the way maritime teams could communicate in the water.
In 2000 TEA introduced a completely new type of tactical headset, the INVISIO® in-ear headset, which
uses the patented in-ear bone conduction microphone. Special Operations Forces and SWAT Teams
quickly adopted this exciting new in-ear headset technology. Soon after releasing the INVISIO®
headset line TEA was awarded the MICH MARITIME program, which provided Special Operations
Teams within the US Navy and US Marine Corps the ability to use a suite of communication
headsets and a universal push-to-talk/control unit with modular cable down leads giving
them the ability to interface with an extremely broad range of radios and intercom systems.
TEA continues to support modifications and purchases for the MICH MARITIME program.
In 2013, TEA was awarded the TCAPS program with their INVISIO® X50 system, which
provides soldiers an in-ear communication headset with certified hearing protection and
enhanced electronic hear-through as well as a modular push-to-talk/control unit that
interfaces with the new NETT Warrior radios/devices as well ground vehicle and aircraft intercom systems. The primary objective of the TCAPS program is to ensure
all soldiers have the highest level of hearing protection and communications on the
battlefield.
TEA Headsets offers a variety of tactical communication headsets and push-to-talk

System Overview: The INVISIO® V60 is TEA’s most advanced universal control unit/push-to-talk.
The V60 is one of the only systems on the market capable of connecting up to 3 separate
communication devices and simultaneously communicating on up to 4 separate channels
(with the use of a dual-net/talk group radio).
The V60 is also one of the easiest advanced headset systems to use, simply connect the
system to a radio and it’s ready to go (no calibrating or start up delays). Using modular

Modular Cabling: The V60 utilizes modular radio/device interface cables that contain an imbedded data chip.
These programmable cables are fine tuned for the V60 to have optimal performance across a broad range of
radios, mobile devices, intercom systems and much more. Each cable is configured for optimal length
allowing for a clean and seamless integration from your end device directly into the V60 control unit.

HEAR AND BE HEARD THE FIRST TIME...
The HTH or Hi-Threat Headset is specifically designed to meet the demands and
intensity of Tier 1 operators and special operations teams. For over a decade the
HTH continues to be one of our most popular dual ear boom headsets.
The HTH features Combat Noise Suppression technology that protects the operator’s hearing against damaging noises they’re exposed to during combat. In addition to providing certified hearing protection the HTH has adjustable and amplifiable electronic hearing that allows operators to maintain 360° battlefield
awareness.
TEA’s Tier 1 version of the HTH also includes a ballistic and submersible Noise
Canceling boom microphone that can provide compatibility on multiple communication platforms such as 2-way radios or vehicle/aircraft/watercraft ICS systems.

choose from.

LOW PROFILE HEADBAND
The HTH headband features a removable nylon cover that integrates the
cable with the headband frame. This cover has an inner cushion for added
comfort against the head, which is a breathable material to reduce hot spots.
This cover allows you to easily convert back to using the headband after using
our rail mounts. The headband cover is manufactured within the US and is
Berry compliant.

The HTH T1 has full compatibility
with bump and ballistic versions of the
Ops-Core FAST™ helmet. The HTH
easily fits underneath this helmet by
making a simple adjustment to the
inner two crown pads (just space them
out to accommodate the width of the
headband). We also offer a rail adapter
kit that allows for mounting directly to
the helmet. The rail adapters can be
adjusted for a more exact fit and also for
stowing of the headset behind the head.
LOCK IN THE PERFECT FIT
The new headband version has an adjustable
mounting system that allows you to adjust the
support arms up or down to ensure a proper fit.
You can also remove the headband and use our

HEADBAND OR HELMET?
The Hi-Threat Tier 1 Headset provides users the broadest compatibility
with new and legacy helmets on the market. The new slim headband
design allows for standalone use, wear underneath helmets and can
easily be removed and replaced with an adapter for mounting to rail on
helmets.

The TEA TACTICAL HAZMAT COMMUNICATION KIT was developed to provide special response teams an easy to
use and budget friendly headset system that is worn over their HAZMAT suite and integrates into their protection
mask and tactical gear. This system provides operators hearing protection, enhanced electronic hear-thru
and clear radio communication when responding to hazardous chemical and biological threats.
The TEA HI-THREAT Headset (HTH) provides certified hearing
protection as well as enhanced and amplified situational awareness.
Since voice communications are relayed through the mask this version
doesn’t include a boom arm microphone. High quality speakers deliver
natural and clear hear-thru and radio receive sound even through
the thick hoods of HAZMAT suites. Hear-thru audio can be adjusted
using the simple 3 button controls found on the left ear cup. These
controls can be easily accessed when wearing thick gloves.
TEA also offers adapters that allow you to mount the HTH directly
to the rails of your ballistic helmet
The Headset Cable’s 3.5mm connection plugs into the 3.5mm input located
on the back of the left ear cup of the HI-THREAT Hearing Protection Headset.
The other end of the cable plugs in to the Tactical U94 Push-to-Talk. This
cable enables you to hear radio receive (Rx) communications through the
headset. The standard cable length is 16”.
This rugged cable plugs directly into the 2 pin input port located on the mask
microphone assembly and the other end integrates into the AUX INPUT PORT
on the TEA U94 Push-to-Talk Switch. This cable allows you to transmit (Tx) on
your connected radio. The standard cable length is 16”.
TEA’s U94 rugged and contoured design allow it to be easily accommodated onto almost any type of vest or uniform and features a
removable back clip that allows for right or left side wear. To prevent
the ingress of water or debris into the input socket, the U94 has a
protective boot that seals around the headset connector.
This version of the U94 includes a rugged auxiliary input port that integrates the mask microphone into your radio via the MASK MIC CABLE.
The input is recessed to create a strong seal of the cable and to prevent
unwanted cable disconnect during tactical applications.
The U94 PTT can be configured to work with practically any 2-way radio.
