The Legends Fantasy Weekend pairs the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) – the official alumni association of the NBA – with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame at Mohegan Sun, November 20-22, 2015. The NBRPA’s signature event of the weekend is the Legends Philanthropy Awards Gala, featuring a star-studded line-up of Legends, including Jalen Rose, Lenny Wilkens, Rick Barry, John Starks, Gene Keady, Dave Cowens, Calvin Murphy, Spencer Haywood, Teresa Weatherspoon, Jo Jo White and many more to be announced. This amazing event honors philanthropists and Legends from the world of sports, while raising funds for the children and grandchildren of professional basketball players to have access to higher education. The Dave DeBusschere Scholarship Fund, has provided more than $1.5 million in educational funds to underserved communities and college scholarships for NBRPA Members and their families. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is home to more than three hundred inductees and more than 40,000 square feet of basketball history.
