spectacular temples as Bangkok. Among the places
of Buddhist worship you can visit are temples such as
Wat Phra Kaew (knon for its Emerald Buddha), Wat
Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Wat Traimit
(Temple of the Golden Buddha) and Wat Arun
(Temple of the Dawn).
In the city formerly knon as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh
City, you'll find reminders of a rich colonial past and
deep traditional culture around every corner.

The country's deep spiritual heritage can be seen in

the blossoming of the cherry trees. Architecture
shines in examples such as Tokyo's Imperial Castle

island nation's cuisine is celebrated globally - taste

creations as sushi, delicately fried tempura and
noodles ranging from sublime soba to fashinable
ramen, as well as increasingly popular sake.
