• Seconded to Nottingham Community
Transport in June 2012 to manage transfer of
Medilink.
• Appointed as General Manager at Nottingham
Community Transport in January 2014.
Facts about QMC
• Built in the late 1970’s on a 42 acre site.
• Multi-storey blocks with 6 floors &
interconnecting central area.
• More than 1,300 beds.
• Employs more than 6,000 people.
• Until Feb 2012 it was the largest hospital in the
UK.
• Merged with Nottingham City Hospital in April
2006.

• Opened in 1903 on a large 90 acre site.
• Composed of a number of buildings.
• Provides more specialised services, but no
A&E.
• More than 1,000 beds.
• Employs over 6,000 people.
