Everyone
participates in the main contest & appears in the contestant lineup of the book,
after that optional categories are exactly that –optional !–enter one or all of them.
ATTIRE: Dress to Impress! Your Sunday Best !
And remember ``You`re never fully dressed with out a smile``
BABIES 0-3 Years: Each child will go on stage with one adult. Contestants will be presented in
a group line up, followed by an individual intro to the judges. Just be cute & bubbly!
CHILDREN /TEENS ( 4 years & up ) Contestants will be presented in a group line-up . Each
child will be given the microphone to introduce themselves to the panel of judges, then a simple
walk down to the judges table. Take your time , make eye contact and smile at the judges!
The winner in each age division will receive a Festival of Lights Trophy, 10” Large Rhinestone Tiara (girls),
satin & fur crown (boys), Gold embossed satin banner, certificate & gift.
Runner-ups:
Each age category will have (3) Runner-ups with Light up Trophies & gifts
Everyone will win something— if you are not Winner or runnerup you will receive a
participation trophy/medallion/gift or tiara because everyone is a winner at our pageant !

AGES 0-3 YEARS: This very special title will go to the one contestant who has the
highest score of Main Contest, Photogenic, Fun Photo, Winter Photo, Portfolio, Winter Model
when combined together.

OVERALL HIGH POINT ROYAL SUPREME
AGES 4 YR + UP : The Ultimate award of this Pageant will be
presented to the contestant who has the highest score of Main Contest, Photogenic, Fun
Photo , Winter Photo, Portfolio, Winter Model ,Costume, Toy Commercial when combined
together (Talent is not included )
PRIZES: 2 foot trophy, 10” Rhinestone Tiara (girls) Satin crown (boys), Supreme Custom
Banner , Royal Cape , Official Certificate and $100 CASH Prize awarded!
OPTIONALS:
Winners in each optional category receive a Themed Rhinestone Tiara
(girls), Olympic style Medallion (boys), Gold Embossed Satin Banner, and Certificate.
1st Runner-ups receive a Medallion & Certificate, 2nd Runneup Rhinestone Pin (girls) (boys)
and certificate, 3rd & 4th Runnerups certificate just so they know how they placed.
BONUS AWARDS: Gold Embossed Satin Banner & Certificate will be awarded in every age
category for some of these choice titles: Best Dressed , Fashion Statement, Sweetheart, Best

WHY YOU SHOULD ENTER OPTIONALS ?
Each time you are on stage you are making a new impact on the Judges .
Awards are more exciting when you could be accepting more than one.
One contestant in each age division will be awarded the Overall High Point Title
and be acknowledged for their accomplishments. Each Overall
High Point Winner will then qualify to win the CASH and titles of
OVERALL BABY AWARD & GRAND SUPREME WINNER
ALL AGE GROUPS
We supply the appropriate music for all optional categories except talent
PHOTOGENIC
Bring a photo any size in either color or black & white. Judging based upon photogenic features and the ability to
come across well in photos. NO frames please! DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PROFESSIONAL! If you simply can’t
decide you can enter a 2nd photo for an additional fee. Name and age on back of photo please
FUN PHOTO
Bring a photo showing your fun or silly side, any size. Judging based on the silliest, craziest photo.

WINTER PHOTO
Winter Photo can be outdoors, skiing, making a snowman or a snow angel , skating or can be staged indoors with
your new winter attire, maybe your pj’s and hot cocoa, decorating for the Holidays, wrapping presents

PORTFOLIO
Label your album with name, age. Either on front cover or inside front cover- Maximum 12 photographs. Judging
based on ,versatility of looks, expressions and poses. All sizes and quality ,black & white or color accepted.
Home shots or professional shots -or mixture of both. Must be in a booklet form

WINTER MODEL WEAR
Model your Winter attire, perhaps your new snowsuit , skating attire, winter coat with hat , mitts and scarf or your
warm woolly long johns –lol– 0-3 year olds– dress like you belong in the pages of the Winter catalog
FOLLOWING FOR AGES 4 YEARS AND UP
COSTUME
Surprise us, be creative and unique, use your imagination. Halloween costumes—storybook characters etc.
Props are welcome– be original and model your costume on the runway for the judges.
TOY COMMERCIAL SPOKESMODEL
Speaking on the microphone is considered one of the most fearful things for adults to do , so let’s start now and
make it easy for our youngsters so they can grow up to be confident on the mic . Pick your favorite toy and tell us
why we should buy it TODAY– give us reasons why it is so great, how much it is , where we can get it—etc.
Agent will be watching this one for sure !!!
TALENT
If you have a special talent such as singing, dancing, playing an instrument or you may choose to lip sync to your
favorite song. Judging based on presentation, projection, personality, professionalism and overall effect. Limit
talent to a maximum of 2 minutes. Marking cd cover with contestant name and song number, counts in the scoring in regards to professionalism. You can enter extra talent too!!
**BONUS**
You can bring a friend that has not won their
Main entry fee to this pageant for FREE! Just because they are your
friend they will be allowed to enter the Festival of Lights Pageant
with their Main entry FREE too!! If you bring someone new who has
not done our pageant to the Finals you will be presented with a
Friendship gift as well !! 3 new friends will automatically get you a
10 inch tiara (New friend must have their form & fee in by the deadline.)

Each contestant will receive a complimentary program book .
If you want extras –program books will be on sale at the Finals, they will also be
distributed to agencies, directors and producers in Toronto, New York, Chicago ,
Vancouver & LA
1/ ROYAL CONTESTANT LINE-UP
EVERY CONTESTANT MUST BE IN THIS SECTION. There will be a photo of each
contestant in this section. The charge for printing your photo in this section is $75.00
which includes your own personal copy of the 2013 Program Book and the delivery of
copies sent to various casting agents, talent managements, scouts & our personal clients
who book kids thru us. You must send your fee and photo in by the deadline. Label
photo on back—Name and Age Division . Some people have sent their picture and fee to
be in the program book even if they are not in the pageant in order to be seen by the
agents * clients* scouts for possible paid bookings for commercials. So anyone can be in
the program in the lineup or ad pages even if you are not entering the pageant.
2/SPONSOR PAGES
You’re time to shine! We hope that every contestant will strive to have one full sponsor
page this will guarantee you being presented with a distinctive one foot trophy and tiara .
YOUR PHOTOGRAPH will appear on EVERY PAGE sold by you! The more pages
you appear on, the more agents and directors viewing the book will notice you. Label
your photo on the back with your Name, Age, & Sponsor. Our Professional Artist will
create a unique page just for you. Any size photo is acceptable. Remember the better the
quality picture you send us the better your page will look, you can email pictures too, but
please only send ―completed pages‖ which means send the fee, the information & your
picture at the same time- The total price per page is $160.00. Everyone who obtains just
one page will receive a Royal trophy and rhinestone tiara ( girls) trophy & medallion
for boys***BONUS*** obtaining at least one ad page will also get you in the draw for

First spread the word about this great opportunity. Call relatives and friends. Contact
business associates. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents can all contact their friends
and business associates as well.

like the family doctor , dentist, lawyer, auto mechanic, dry cleaner, insurance agent,
florist, local restaurants , gymnastic and dance schools, dress store, funeral home,
building contractor, banker ,photographer , real estate, politicians. people and businesses
that you have supported over the years can now support their home town contestant.
Explain that this is an established pageant that has been in business for over 28
years. Call us and let us know you are trying to obtain ad pages and we will create a
