Itinerary… After local pick ups we make our way to Morecambe for our lunch break and then continue to Heysham to join the ferry over to The Isle of Man. Arriving in Douglas at approximately 5.30pm we then transfer the short distance to our hotel. • Free morning in Douglas with afternoon trip on The Mountain Railway from Laxey to the summit of Snaefell, the Islands highest point. • Full day Island tour including Peel, Ramsay & Tynwald Hill • A morning trip on The Isle of Man Steam Railway from Douglas to Port Erin. We expect to arrive home late afternoon. Your Hotel… The Rutland Hotel, is located on the quiet and scenic Queen’s promenade and enjoys panoramic views over the bay. All en suite bedrooms have complimentary toiletries, TV, ironing board/iron, hairdryer & tea/coffee making facilities. The hotels own 'Restaurant 21' serves an excellent Carvery style menu in comfortable surroundings and with great views of the Douglas Bay. The hotel also features a comfortable bar and lounge. Excursion included… • A scenic tour visiting the seaside resort of Weymouth. • A trip on the Swanage Heritage Railway - a unique journey through six miles of beautiful scenery passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle & travelling down to the £420 per person No Single Room Supplement (Subject to availability) blue flag beach at Swanage. We then return to Poole for a free afternoon. Make sure you visit Poole Pottery, only a few minutes from our hotel! • A morning trip to Dorchester, the county town of Dorset.
