Serving as the Executive Director for the Dallas Sports Commission, Monica Paul plays an essential role in implementing
marketing programs that enhance Dallasí acquisition of sports competitions and events, including solicitation of Olympic,
professional, collegiate and amateur sports, events and meetings. Most recently, she was honored by Connect Magazine as
being one of the ì 40 Under 40: Class of 2013,î as a leader and innovator in the industry.
Paul also works closely with professional leagues, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Olympic National
Governing Bodies and amateur sports federations, selling Dallas as a fi rst≠ class destination for events, conventions and meetings. She liaised with
the Super Bowl XLV Host Commi!ee in 2011, served as Executive Director of the Dallas World Cup Bid Commi!ee, served on the NBA All≠ Star
2010 Local Organizing Commi!ee as well as the NCAA Mení s Final Four Local Organizing Commi!ee in 2014 and the College Football Playoff Local
Organizing Commi!ee in 2015.
Prior to joining the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Paul was the Associate Director of Events at USA Volleyball where she oversaw
the international events and marketing for the USA Womení s and Mení s National Teams from 2007≠ 2008. She was also the Director of Competition
for the 2007 National Senior Games in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to the NSGA, Paul was the Director of International and Domestic Events for USA
Taekwondo from 2004≠ 2006 and Director of Events, Marketing and Sponsorships for the Junior Volleyball Association of Austin from 2001≠ 2003.
Paul joined USA Volleyball in 1997 as the Technical Coordinator for the USA Womení s National Team and was then a part of the USA Delegation for
the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education at UT Austin and a Masterí s degree in Sports Administration from Northern
Colorado. She currently serves on the National Senior Games Board of Directors and Executive Commi!ee, the Heart of Dallas Board of Directors,
the SMU Athletic Forum Board of Directors, and completed her term on the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce Board. An avid volleyball fan,
she remains actively involved in the sport internationally, representing the USA as a Technical Delegate on the NORCECA Federation Commi!ee.

A veteran of the hospitality industry, Ginger Lively≠ Cade has been a part of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau
for 18 years. Her career in sports began as a student assistant in the athletic department at her alma mater, the University of
North Texas, and quickly advanced into the hospitality industry where she gravitated into sales and service. As the Sports
Sales Director, her main focus is to a!ract large sporting events and conventions that utilize the Kay Bailey Hutchison
Convention Center, most of which affect our city hotel community as a citywide event.
Cade played in integral role in preparing the Dallas bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics, Super Bowl XLV, NBA All≠ Star Game, NCAA Mení s
and Womení s Final Four, Big 12 Championships, Inaugural College Football National Championship Game and numerous other premier youth
and Olympic sporting events. She represents the DSC on various commi!ees including the National Association of Sports Commissions, Special
Olympics Region 10 and the Dallas Fort Worth Area Sports Alliance. She and her husband, Ras, recently started a custom saddle business and
enjoy spending time with their animal family including Labrador Retrievers and English Bulldogs as well as traveling the calf roping and rodeo trail.

Larry Kelly joined the Dallas Sports Commission in October, 2014 as Communications & Marketing Manager, bringing
to the DSC over 15 years of sports management experience in Dallas. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Larryí s
background includes nine years with the Dallas Stars as Director of Public Relations and six years with the Texas Rangers as
Assistant PR Director. He handles all media relations and marketing efforts for the Dallas Sports Commission and its event
rights holders.
During his tenure with the Stars, Kellyí s duties included all communications and media relations activities for the NHL club while serving as
the main liaison between the Stars and both local and national media. Under his leadership, the Stars were recognized for top PR department and
best media guide by the Professional Hockey Writers Association. He also has the honor of having his named engraved on the Stanley Cup from the
Starsí 1999 championship. A native of North Quincy, Massachuse!s, he is an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He and his wife, Nane!e, have two
children, Caroline and Cameron.

Joe Albsmeyer, Sales Manager

Currently serving as the Sales Manager, Joe Albsmeyer is approaching fi ve years in Dallas and nine within the
industry. A 2006 graduate of Webber International University, he got his professional start in Central Florida before
moving to Texas to pursue the Sports Marketing Coordinator position with the Dallas CVB. Albsmeyerí s main focus is on
recruiting and supporting all sports events outside of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. He has served on
the volunteer action commi!ee for Super Bowl XLV, as the lodging liaison for the 2014 NCAA Mení s Final Four and also
co≠ chaired the Heart of Dallas Bowl Hospitality Commi!ee.
Albsmeyer grew up in central Illinois before moving to Florida to a!end college on a baseball scholarship and earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Administration. A background in athletics paired with a desire to connect with people fuels his passion to promote
Dallas as the ultimate sports destination to rights holders and fans alike. Joe enjoys representing the Dallas Sports Commission at various
industry summits and conventions while pursuing professional development in the Certifi ed Sports Event Executive curriculum. Content with
trading in a baseball bat for a set of golf clubs, Albsmeyer relishes free time spent hi!ing the links, grilling with friends or exploring all that
Dallas has to offer with his wife and young son.

Jake Lease brings over 13 years of event planning experience as the Event Manager for the Dallas Sports
Commission. A graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology, he relocated to Dallas a#er seven years
at USA Karate, the National Governing Body for Karate with the US Olympic Commi!ee. He spent his time at USA
Karate as the Director of Events, as well as serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer for two years. While there, he
grew participation in USA Karate Signature Events by over 200% with a focus on customer experience, event quality
enhancement, and utilizing technology to improve quality and efficiency.
His event resume includes being the director of over 40 regional, national, and international events. He served as the Operations
Director for the Rocky Mountain State Games from 2010≠ 2013 and has consulted for various events throughout the United States and Central
& South America. During the 2014 NCAA Mení s Final Four, Lease worked as part of the Volunteer Commi!ee and oversaw the Welcome Desk
Program that provided city and event information at Dallasí airports, hotels, and key venues. Leaseí s goal at the Dallas Sports Commission is to
use his experience from the planning and execution side of events to ensure that every client has the resources and tools necessary to execute
the most successful event possible.

Kalen Schou joined the Dallas Sports Commission in 2015 as an Event Coordinator. A native of Jacksonville,
Florida, she is a 2014 graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a degree in Applied Physiology and Sport
Management. While at SMU, she interned with the DSC and worked on several events including the 2014 NCAA Mení s
Final Four, the USOC Road to Sochi Tour and the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship.
Schou volunteers her time with Highland Park Young Life and Highland Park Special Olympics. She resides in
Dallas with her two dogs, Lyla and Riggins, and is a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Stars.

With over one million square feet of exhibit space, a 9,816≠ seat arena, a 1,750≠ seat theater, the largest column≠ free space
in the country, and a pair of ballrooms, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (KBHCC) is a colossal facility located
in the heart of downtown Dallas and is so versatile that it can be used for almost any event imaginable. Some of these
events include volleyball tournaments, USA Gymnastics events, cheerleading, and weightli#ing along with hundreds of
conventions and trade shows. Featuring 96 meeting rooms, wireless internet throughout, a fi ber≠ optic transmission system
that allows audio/visual broadcasts to be shared from anywhere, and a multitude of services ranging from electrical and
plumbing to catering and concessions, the KBHCC is a high tech venue that can help make any event a giant success.

The American Airlines Center is the cornerstone of Victory Park, a 70≠ acre urban gathering space that is the largest EPA
brownfi eld project in the United States. This $420 million facility, that is best known as home to the NBAí s Dallas Mavericks
and the NHLí s Dallas Stars, is a multi≠ purpose arena that can transform itself to host a multitude of events. Arena football,
gymnastics, WWE events, Motocross, bull riding, fi gure skating, circuses, and major concerts are just a small fraction of
events that have been held at the American Airlines Center. The arenaí s unique design and advanced technology allow for
quick surface changes, for example, changing the basketball fl oor to an NHL ice rink can be done in less than two hours.
Renovations in 2009 allowed the American Airlines Center to have the fi rst 1080 HD video scoreboards in an NBA or NHL
arena. With 144 luxury suites and awards in architectural design, customer service, and green technology, the American
Airlines Center is nothing short of a world class facility.

One of the most expansive stadiums to have ever been built, AT&T Stadium is a modern marvel located west of Dallas in
the city of Arlington. It also happens to be one of the largest domed structures in the world. This $1.2 billion football stadium
spared no expense to create a luxurious facility. With more than 300 suites, numerous different clubs, a retractable roof
that can open and close in 12 minutes, the tallest moveable glass in the world, and one of the worldí s largest scoreboards,
this facility is unrivaled by any current stadium. The scoreboard suspends 90 feet over the fi eld and stretches from one 20
yard line to the other. It features four video boards that face in each direction so everyone in the stadium has an easy view
of the giant 1080i HD screens. More than just a football stadium, AT&T Stadium is capable of changing surfaces to host a
variety of events. With 22 fl exible vent locations, the Stadium is also an ideal place to host meetings and other gatherings.
It is of li!le surprise that this venue has already hosted such events as the 2011 Super Bowl, the 2014 NCAA Mení s Final
Four, the 2015 College Football National Championship, the annual Co!on Bowl, the 2010 NBA All Star Game and the 2015
Academy of Country Music Awards. The Stadium also hosts the annual American Rodeo, various concerts and has been
named the future host of WrestleMania in 2016.

Co!on Bowl Stadium has been an iconic part of Dallas since its opening in 1932. This stadium, best known
for its football, has been home to the SMU Mustangs, the Dallas Cowboys, the annual Red River Rivalry
game between the University of Texas Longhorns and the University of Oklahoma Sooners, the annual
State Fair Classic game between the Grambling State University Tigers and the Prairie View A&M University
Panthers, and The Co!on Bowl Classic. However, the 9th largest stadium in the United States does not
focus solely on football. It has hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup, the Gold Cup Games, MLS soccer, and
a number of concerts like Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones. This legendary facility demonstrated its
commitment to remaining a world class facility by going through a set of renovations in 2008 that replaced
all of the seating, added a new state of the art video board, an exterior faÁ ade, and a brand new surface.

One of the fi nest horse racing facilities in the world is Lone Star Park located in Grand Prairie. Since 1997, this facility has
hosted thoroughbred and quarter horse racing in the spring and fall seasons. In 2004, the site was selected to host The

elevation changes between its 18 holes. Each par≠ three hole varies by length and allows for different playing options at

Carroll ISD Aquatics Center is located in Southlake and jointly used by the City of Southlake and the Carroll Independent
School District. This facility is home to the Carroll High School Dragons swimming and diving teams who compete in
the largest 5A classifi cation of UIL as well as the North Texas Nadadores. It is more than just a competition facility as it
offers a variety of different classes including aerobics, swim lessons, and scuba diving lessons. It meets Olympic length
requirements and is able to run 50≠ meter swimming races. The pool can also be divided to run two 25≠ meter courses. The
pool also meets the maximum depth requirement needed to dive and can be set up for a variety of water polo courses
including the regulation size for FINA. This facility has amazing features such as a UV system that kills organics in a pool,

Fieldhouse USA is an enormous multi≠ million dollar indoor sports complex located in Frisco. This complex is composed
of 12 full≠ sized basketball courts that can be reconfi gured to volleyball regulations and a turf arena for sports like soccer,
football, and lacrosse. The stadium features three≠ tiered bleachers on each court that can hold 300 people but can also

Olympians from all over the world. Metroplex BMX also hosts the annual Texas State Championship Finals. The two≠ day
event, which draws more than 1,000 participants, offers amateurs an opportunity to race for the coveted Texas State
Champion title. Riders hail from Texas and several other statesó all racing for the large team and pro purses. In addition,
Metroplex BMX annually hosts a Texas State Championship qualifi er event, an annual Leukemia Society Race for Life, an
annual Olympic Day race. In all, the facility hosts more than 90 district races each year. Metroplex BMX has hosted the
USA Cycling National Championship three times and the Gold Cup Championship twice. In 2014, Metroplex BMX hosted
the fi rst Collegiate National BMX Racing Championship. This event featured college recruiters offering scholarships to

The Yucatan Beach Club is a bar and grill located northwest of Dallas in the town of Coppell and features an enormous
outdoor white sand area that can be utilized for a variety of different athletic competitions. Sand volleyball, fl ag football,
foot volley, beach tennis, and beach soccer courts can be set up to regulation sizes in order to host multiple different
tournaments, leagues, and practices. The sand that the courts are composed of is a fi ne, white sand that is ideal for the
respective sports. This facility has an array of extras that make this an excellent event location such as multiple bars indoor
and outdoor, large, fl at screen televisions, an outdoor swimming pool, a banquet room, ping pong tables, billiard tables,
a gazebo, and a full menu.
