12.4.2011 The Beta ends and World of Tanks is released in Europe in Version 6.3.
16.4.2011 The first “Kill the Mod” event after release.
17.5.2011 Update 6.4 is released in Europe introducing two amazing premium tanks,
the Löwe and KV-5 in addition to two new maps, Mountain Pass and Prairies,
the Tier 8 SPGs and the KV-13 and Pz38NA tanks.
19.5.2011 Start of Clan Wars and introduction of the Global Map.
23.5.2011 The first World of Tanks in-game special takes place.
24.5.2011 Number of registered users reaches 3.000.000 worldwide.
26.5.2011 Tracer hacks successfully removed.

of Tanks client released in 8 additional languages Dutch, Danish,
Romanian, Turkish, Finish, Swedish, Estonian and Lithuanian.
29.6.2011 Update 6.5 is released in Europe. It brought an entirely new American TD line
(T95 line), the M22 Locust, the T-127 and the M26 Pershing was replaced
with the M46 Patton. Two new maps, Redshire and the Arctic Region were
also introduced with this update.
14.7.2011 „Wargaming TV“ now with English subtitles.
20.7.2011 The first “Kill ‘em All”.
22.7.2011 klopsgoer and storeslem won the first “Most Valuable Player”.
8.8.2011 First ESL WoT tournament concludes.
9.8.2011 The WoT facebook special is announced.
10.8.2011 Update 6.6 is released in Europe bringing an additional map, Siegfried Line
along with major changes to the German tech tree (E-100 line). This update
also introduced platoons for non-premium players!
11.8.2011 World of Tanks reaches 5.000.000 users worldwide.
12.8.2011 First anniversary of World of Tanks in Russia.
15.9.2011 Update 6.7 is released in Europe, introducing the new light tanks of tiers 4
and 5, the premium tank Type 59 and the M4A3E2. In addition, one new
map, The Fishing Bay is introduced.
17.10.2011 Introduction of the “WoT 1 on 1 Funcup”.
28.10.2011 The first edition of the “Kill the Courier” contest finished.
25.11.2011 World of Tanks is released in a boxed version through retailers across Europe.
19.12.2011 pdate 7.0 is released in Europe introducing tank camouflage, tank company

levels the replay recorder as well as a ton of updated and new visual effects.
This major update also introduced two new maps, The Swamp and Fjords
and the new complaint system.
1.1.2012 New Year celebrations are taking place all over the world - in World of Tanks our
Tank Commanders start into the new year with their new MkVII Tetrarch tank.
5.1.2012 Update 7.1 is released in Europe introducing the highly acclaimed French
tank tree.
7.1.2012 The European World of Tanks Gift Shop is launched.
2.2.2012 The “Hunt us Down” contest is introduced.
3.2.2012 The “Kamikaze” contest is introduced.
22.2.2012 The World of Tanks facebook page reaches 200.000 fans – the community
celebrates the occasion with a 5 times experience special.

21.3.2012 The first “David vs. Goliath” contest.
23.3.2012 The Provinces of West Africa are added to the Global Map.
30.3.2012 Update 7.2 is released in Europe introducing an entirely new line of American
Tank Destroyers, 22 new crew skills, two additional maps - Province and Live
Oaks, as well as updates to the US Heavy Tank tree and new tank camouflages.
Along with several bug fixes and visual effect updates, the garage User
Interface was also redesigned to make information about your tanks more
easily accessible.
3.4.2012 Start of the 1 year anniversary contest in Europe.
