Hera logistics centre in Enger, north of Bielefeld
"Satisfied customers world-wide"
This is our primary goal. Since the star began to shine for Hera, electrical engineering
has been the centre of our interest. That was in 1934. Hera specialised in lighting 16
years later. From that moment on, lighting technology has become the shining star in
the development of the company`s wide range of products. The first sensation came
in 1961, when the founder of the company, Hermann Abke, developed the first fluorescent
furniture light world-wide.
In the early 1980´s Hera first started looking at the halogen bulb. By taking an
aggressive view, our engineers were able to develop a diverse line of halogen lighting
for furniture, cabinet, ceiling, exhibition stands and shop fitting.
An important aspect is a quality policy that is consistently geared to provide customer
benefits. Our efforts in this respect are reflected in our quality management system,
which has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
Our latest drive for self improvement is the new Hera Logistic Centre, which is our
commitment to the future.
Since the 1930´s, "Light years" have passed and valuable experience has been gathered.
Today, Hera is one of the leading manufacturers in the lighting market world-wide.

On the FD8.1 luminaire construction the light tube is mounted
diagonally on the housing. Therefore it is possible to fix the
luminaires in overlapping lightrows. The usual dark zones,
otherwise caused by the technical construction, thus being avoided.

Futura - A beautiful aluminium housing so easy to install
Hera niche luminaires are manufactured to individual requirements. In a modular design, these luminaires
can be supplied with halogen or fluorescent lamps, switches and socket-outlet elements. Futura is also
available with NightLight - technology. A unique, new combination of powerful LED illumination and
sturdy sensor circuitry (ON/OFF switch) of the lights. Any required length up to 3000 mm is possible also for corners with 90° or 135° angle elements. The fixing system with profile hook
ensures easy installation.
The system does not have to be opened for power connection, as it is supplied with 2 m cable ready to
connect to the power supply via a fused spur. A continuous cover profile provides a surface without
corners, edges or gaps.

How Does HighLite Work?

HighLite is a complete, modular system available in four lengths. The four lighting elements can be arranged
individually, or snapped together with mounting stems and connecting pieces to create long lines of continuous light.
These can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
You'll want to show it off, not hide it behind an unattractive valance! You dont have to design around your lighting
anymore. HighLite features a stylish, brushed anodized aluminum finish, adding brilliance
to any retail design environment. HighLite also gives you the ability to direct your light source, as you wish, by simply
rotating the lighting element.
It's flexible, modular and compact enough to be convenient. Using the built-in ballast technology of our standard
SlimLites, you can seamlessly create long lines of light by simply snapping the lighting elements together. In many

Recessed in Pocket Hole
One of the unique features of Hera halogen spotlights is the "pocket hole"
installation. This means that you do not have to drill all the way through
the board when recessing Hera halogen spotlights. In 19 mm boards you
simply drill 16 mm into the board.
(No additional ventilation is needed.)
Semi Recessed (Requires Spacer Ring)
In 16 mm boards Hera halogen spots can still be recessed into a pocket
hole using a spacer ring. The spacer ring reduces the recess depth to 12 mm.
