For many business professionals, a profitable bottom line is not the sole criterion in defining success; tangible and intangible virtues such as excellence, best practices, innovation and sustainability are core elements that contribute to the overall success of a firm. It was therefore with the intention to showcase the ’best of the best’ and honor those businesses in Hamriyah Free Zone who have taken their companies, teams and results to ‘the next level’ of success that the Hamriyah TOP3 Awards were instituted two years ago. By recognizing and promoting excellence, best practices and innovation within the HFZA community, the TOP3 Awards provides dynamic and forward thinking businesses a platform to showcase their achievements and share their success with other like minded companies. Today, the Hamriyah TOP3 Awards has established itself as the ultimate platform for outstanding businesses in the Hamriyah Free Zone. At the awards ceremony in March this year, I was delighted to note that the event has evolved to become much more than just a celebration of excellence. The TOP3 Awards are now the highlight of Hamriyah Free Zone’s business calendar and serves as an opportunity to network as it attracts high profile industry support and involvement. At Hamriyah Free Zone, it is our mission to represent, serve and connect our 6000 members to build and sustain a thriving business community. The TOP3 Awards brings our community together to celebrate the accomplishments of individuals, businesses and organizations across all industries in our Free Zone. The Awards are also a tribute to the entrepreneurial abilities and industriousness of these investors whose contributions have led to the success of the Hamriyah Free Zone. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our 2013 TOP3 Awards winners – they are a great example of the quality of businesses we have in HFZA. I hope that the endorsement of the success of our winners will inspire many more in the Free Zone to continue to shape HFZA’s corporate landscape through innovative and dynamic processes as we move forward to another exciting phase in our growth.
