Look no further; join us on one of our fabulous motorcycle tours across the USA, Canada, or South Africa. We promise you an unforgettable experience! A bit about us Crossroads Motortours specializes in extraordinary motorcycle tours. We − René and Ronald − founded our company in 2002. Once upon a time we took a tour ourselves, only to get totally hooked. We decided to turn our hobby into business, and to join forces in making other riders’ dreams come true. The rest is history; we have succeeded in providing umpteen riders with the motorcycle tour of a lifetime. We take the most magnificent roads, pointing out the most incredible sites as we go. We do all of this with immense fervor, pleasure, and devotion − and we always put our participants first. The best of the best As dedicated motorcycle fanatics we’ll do whatever we can to keep improving our tours. We’re always on the lookout for exciting new routes, with diferent back roads, alternative stops, quaint little “local” restaurants, and hotels that match the tour’s atmosphere. Thanks to this approach we and our tour participants get to meet all kinds of friendly folks and hear the tall tales they oten have to tell. Riding with us means riding on a current bike in a modestly sized group. This means no extended fuel stops as well as being easily accommodated everywhere to eat, drink, and have fun together. Our limited group size also contributes to maximum safety. What’s more, we are let with plenty of time for personal interaction with our participants. In short, this is the best of the best, in every respect! What’s your preference? Besides guided motorcycle tours we also organize customized tours, for individual participants as well as groups. Like to ride alone, as a couple, or with a bunch of friends? We’ve got you covered; we’ll gladly assemble a special package for you, with whatever you like, such as lights, hotels, bikes, even motor homes. As experienced tour leaders we know exactly how to orchestrate the trip of a lifetime, your ultimate adventure. Your pleasure is our reward. A total experience A motorcycle tour is way more than riding a bike, just as guiding a motorcycle tour is way more than just riding in front. At Crossroads Motortours we get that. To us a motorcycle tour is a total experience where every single day should be perfect. We want our participants to enjoy generous amounts of good vibes, adventure, and just feeling great together. You will see and share the unforgettable, gather precious new experiences, get to know each other on the tour and, at the same time, meet other interesting folks along the way. Good honest food Our guided tours are all about doing stuf together; having barbecues, eating out, enjoying a drink or two. They’re about laughter, maybe the occasional tear. Simply put, they’re about life itself. We’ll take you to the most charming “local” restaurants and bars. Forget about fast food chains, we’ll go to the places the locals like. We know where the cooking’s good and what’s on the menu. Speaking of cooking, we do some of that ourselves too; nothing beats a steak and salad by René or Ronald. Especially when you get to savor it at the edge of a canyon at sunset. Awesome accommodations For our participants we only want the best. As a result you’ll be sleeping in truly awesome accommodations, carefully handpicked to complement your tour. What could be better than parking your bike right in front of the hotel and heading straight for a refreshing dive in the pool? Of course, if you have any special wishes we’ll be sure to take them into account. Safety first We prepare our tours meticulously, making sure everything is neatly arranged. You won’t have to worry about a thing. Your bike will be ready. We will check you into your hotel. We’ll take care of you. It goes without saying that safety is a priority. On our tours we use state-of-the-art communications equipment, and all our combined experience to trouble shoot any possible problems. Their incredible stories alone are enough make your spine tingle. Nights will be spent in traditional motels, dinner will be something along the lines of a “Texas Style Steak 41/2 pounder” in Amarillo or a roadside barbecue in Seligman. Route 66 is a wonderful dream of the past come true. Welcome to the mainstreet of America chicago DEPARTURE DATES Stretching over 2,300 miles, Route 66 is the legendary road that connects Chicago and Los Angeles. The road was built in the thirties and saw its heyday in the fities. Riding the entire Route you’d pass through three time zones and cross eight states. This is pure bucket list material, so here’s your chance! Prepare to be dazzled Route 66 is the old America from Hollywood movies − the ultimate Harley-Davidson road. On this trip you’ll notice how a lot of glorious nostalgia remains unscathed, represented by period restaurants, gas stations, Mom and Pop stores and the like. The tour departs from the historic starting point of Route 66 in Chicago. From there we’ll ride out of town and take the Pontiac Trail. Of course our itinerary includes the “Famous Dixie Truck-Stop” and the “Chain of Rocks Bridge”. We’ll literally pass all those legendary sites, and end the tour where we should, on Santa Monica pier. Talk about unforgettable... 30 Please consult the tour schedule on our website. Don once bought an old mine in which he now stores his fabulous collection of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The icing on the cake of this tour is following the Grand Canyon and the best part of Route 66, riding to the beat of a rarified atmosphere and unexpected encounters. We’ll get to hear spectacular tales, such as the emotional story of Angel Delgadillo, and barbecue right by the side of Route 66. This is life as it’s meant to be. Leaving Las Vegas During the tour’s final days we’ll take day trips from Las Vegas to magnificent places such as the “Valley Of Fire” and the “Red Canyon”. Once back in Vegas every night you’ll have plenty of time to go shopping at one of the outlet malls, try your luck at one of the many casinos, and generally enjoy the nightlife. These Las Vegas riding days are optional; it’s up to you how many extra riding days you prefer. LAS VEGAS In October 2012 we organized a special tour to celebrate our company’s 10-year anniversary.
