Paoli named president of First National of Niagara:
Susan Paoli has been promoted to the position of president/chief executive officer of The First National Bank
of Niagara. Paoli has been with the bank since 1987 and
has been active in all departments of the bank. She is a
graduate of Mount Scenario College with a Bachelor of
Science degree in business. She also is a graduate of the
Graduate School of Banking in Madison.

The Simone Agency in Iron Mountain has recently announced the addition of Dave Wells to their staff. Wells
has 30 years of insurance experience, primarily in the
business insurance areas. He is also a licensed agent in

CCI Systems pledges $50,000 to local YMCA: CCI
Systems of Iron Mountain is the first major corporation in Dickinson County to support the Dickinson Area
YMCA Founders Campaign. CCI Systems has pledged
$50,000 over a three-year period to help establish
YMCA programs and to provide financial assistance so
all may participate. The YMCA campaign will involve
30 volunteers working in six teams over a 6-8 week
period in order to secure a total of $450,000 to provide
working capital for the YMCA’s first three years.

enable safe access for ALL users. Pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and
disabilities must be able to safely move along and

There is no prescription for what a Complete Street
looks like. A Complete Street in a rural area will
look different from a Complete Street in a highly
urban area, but both are designed to balance safety
and convenience for everyone using the road.
The adoption of Complete Streets legislation will
spur positive investment in Michigan’s future by
providing opportunities for children and families to
be physically active in a safe environment, and by
creating vibrant places where the best and brightest
want to live and businesses want to locate.

residential property values because homeowners are
willing to pay more to live in walkable communities and businesses located along Complete Streets

the winners of the “Puttin on da’ Ritz” Scholarships.
The Ritz Committee unanimously agreed to offer
$3500 in scholarships to Bay de Noc West Campus in
Iron Mountain for 2010. The six scholarships; 4 traditional and 3 non-traditional students were selected from
a roster of candidates. The winners of the traditional
scholarships are Mariah Johnson of North Dickinson
High School, Amanda Yadro of Florence High School,
Jonathan Nasi of Kingsford High School and Emily Casanova of Iron Mountain High School. The winners
of the non-traditional scholarships are Mark Demers,
