In the early 1970’s, Valmont began
initiating large pole expansion.
Poles over 2700 mm in diameter,
33mm thick and 450 Mpa strength
could be manufactured with our
new break press. Capacity of the
break press is 4000 tons.

In the 1990s, Valmont further expanded
its markets by increasing its ownership in
France, acquiring facilities in China,
Holland, Germany, Canada and Poland.

communication guyed and self-supporting towers.

In 2004, Valmont acquired two companies:
1. Newmark, a manufacturer of spun concrete,
tubular steel and hybrid poles for the power delivery
industry. This resulted in the forming of the ValmontNewmark division, which produces steel, concrete
and hybrid poles for the substation, transmission
and distribution industry.

In 2007, Valmont established joint venture with
Finnish company (Tehomet) which is a market
leader in the decorative poles sector in North
Europe. In 2008, we also purchased a decorative
wood poles factory in Finland.

Requisiti e metodi di test per la sicurezza
passiva delle strutture di supporto sulle strade
– Questo standard europeo considera tre categorie
di sicurezza passiva per le strutture di supporto:
• Alto assorbimento di energia (HE)
• Basso assorbimento di energia(LE)
• Assorbimento di energia nullo (NE)
Cosa considera la norma UNIEN12767
• THIV
= Velocità Teorica di Testa all’Impatto
• ASI
= Indice di Severità di Accelerazione
• Velocità di Uscita ve
Basato su questi valori si determina la colonna in
NE/LE/HE 1/2/3
Metodologia di Test & classificazione –
UNIEN12767
Come si somma tutto ciò?
Gli ultimi modelli di safety pole – in accordo alla EN12767 –
denominato 100HE3 è il prodotto più ”crash friendly” al fine di
evitare danni agli occupanti non solo all’atto della collisione con
il palo, ma anche quando il veicolo passa attraverso il palo.
RELE safety pole
• Testato e approvato in accordo alla EN12767 per raggiungere la
classificazione 100HE3 (10m e 12m)
• con corpo illuminante in testa o con braccio singolo o doppio,
sbraccio da 1m a 2,5m
• l’altezza della struttura tralicciata è di 6m, oltre tale altezza la
struttura è costruita sia con braccio o con pipetta conica e braccio
• punti di saldatura da Ø18mm (verticali) e Ø6mm (diagonali); il tutto
in acciaio a basso contenuto di silicio S235 per assicurare I migliori
risultati di zincatura
• LED decorativo opzionale per la parte tralicciata
• Diametro di base del palo da 8m=121mm; 10m=159mm,
12m=219mm
• possibilità di copertura per la parte tralicciata se richiesto
Perchè scegliere RELE invece di una
alternativa differente?
• Performance di 1ma classe, HE3
• Possibilità di usare bracci mono e doppi L=1 * 2 x 2,5 metri
• IL palo grazie alla sua conformazione e all’utilizzo dei LED
nel traliccio , contribuisce per quanto riguarda la guida
ottica.
• Grandi possibilità di visuale, incluso la visuale attraverso la
struttura (ottima in caso di rotonde, incroci, etc.)
