one-eighth of a mile from the rim of the
Canyon. The original Lodge building, built
in 1924, is listed on the National Register
of Historic Places and is a must-see for

of western movies and TV shows were
filmed there from 1924 to 2010. Parry
Lodge was home to Hollywood’s most
famous stars during the filming—over
150 personally-autographed photos are

named after the movie stars who stayed
in them), a full-service restaurant, heated

parking. Classic Western movies, filmed
in the Kanab area, are featured for free
