How to Activate?
Eligibility Criteria
Individual Customers - Refundable deposit of Rs. 6000/- (subject to change).
Monthly rental @149 is applicable.
You can call us at 121 and leave a request, you can also send in your request through email
[email protected] or you could also send a request through your relationship manager for
International Roaming activation.
Tariffs
To check the International Roaming tariff you can visit www.airtel.in or send the <rate> <space>
<country> to 121 (for indicative tariff).

Product Advice:
• Please check GPRS tariffs before Roaming. GPRS local tariff plan will not be applicable while on
International Roaming.
• Mail sent and received on BlackBerry & MMS sent and received while on International Roaming
will be charged as per GPRS roaming tariffs (As applicable).
• Please remove all call diverts before you go on Roaming.

• Ensure roaming is activated before leaving the home network.
• Any change in pricing / call rates due to market fluctuations shall be non-negotiable and Airtel
shall not be liable to adjust or waive off the amount.
• Let your callers know that you are abroad, with Roaming caller Tunes & avoid unnecessary calls.

• Calls to customer care (+91 98450 12345) back in India will be levied roaming charges.
• For Roaming in USA / Canada one should use the handsets supporting 1900Mhz.
• For Roaming in KOREA / JAPAN customer should use 3G enabled handset.
Call forward Facility:
We suggest you cancel the call forward facility when you are roaming
• Working of Call forwarding facility depends on your roaming network.
• When it is active, you are charged separately for the incoming calls & for diverting it.
Caller Identification:
The incoming caller number will be passed on to the customer subject to availability of the same
from the other service provider. In case an incoming call number doesn’t flash on your phone number
while you are on International Roaming, your bill won’t show it either.
