Stainless Steel
Foreword
Contents
Foreword… …………………………………………………2
Because of its superb corrosion resistance and functionality, stainless steel finds use in a wide variety of areas, including heating
equipment, buildings, automobiles, electric appliances, and chemical facilities, as a metal having the closest connection with our daily lives.
In April 2014, Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd., which opened the way for high-volume production through the introduction of a Sendzimir mill in 1958
and Nippon Metal Industry Co., Ltd., which succeeded in the first production of stainless steel in Japan in 1932, fully merged for a new
start.
To become and continue to be a leading company in the field of cold rolled steel sheet, Nisshin Steel has consistently advanced
modernization of its facilities with the introduction of new technologies, carried out thorough quality control through its integrated
production system, and independently developed highly-functional steel with superior mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, heat
resistance, workability, and designability.
In order to meet increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of customers and society, we will strive to produce stainless steel satisfying
the users' expectations, ensuring the further accumulation of our knowledge and skills and continually developing new technologies.
