The highly acclaimed
Lancashire UFO Group
and PHUFORG held a
conference on 17th May
this year at the Comfort
Friendly Hotel in Burnley,
Lancashire. A host of
speakers, many familiar
with this magazine,

Pearson checked it out.

cut through the tangle of other voices in the
Comfort Friendly Hotel function room.
"Unfortunately, Mr Barry King and Mr
Albert Budden cannot be with us today
because Mr. King has been threatened with
his life and told 'can it or else' if he utters
anything else about his work at a military
base called AL499 in Berkshire.
Albert Budden is filming with the 'Strange
But Truef production team and cannot make it
either/' he said with gloom. Our loss I think
you'll agree.
We had arrived late, as usual at these types
of events, but after travelling over 130 miles,
from the north-east of England, to see and
listen to Mr. King, this news didn't go down
too well. Still after a frantic last minute
orchestration, LAPIS had managed to secure
the UFO and Crop Circle senior himself, Busty

The previous hour had seen the seats
filling up with members of the pubuc and the
odd UFO investigator here and there too, as
the organisers, LAPIS and PHUFORG, set up
their book stalls.
Whilst unpacking his latest art work, alien
illusory artist Nick Clark explained to me how
the groups had come so far in such a limited
space of time.
"Apart from my own concern in this
phenomena, or rather its interest in me,
which on my painting scale goes back only a
few years, I've been receiving images in my
mind of fantastic spacecraft and presumed
alien entities for over 20 years now.
Then, with the help of Laura and Mike
Sayers, the two co-founders of the first
Burnley UFO Group and alien 'channelled, a
couple of years ago I decided to help the
group out full time and it's all gone on from
there really."
LAPIS, on the other hand, began as the
Blackpool UFO Society, which was founded by
Hazel Shandley in 1986. The group has since
modified in name, rank and file several times
over a six year period, ultimately gravitating
towards the LAPIS tag in 1992, undei the
mastery of Joseph Dormer and June Cameron.
Apart from providing its membership with
a variety of useful services such as the
Internet, choices of magazines and videos, as
well as invitations to take part in sky
watches, the society organises national
conferences, some of which have magnetised
the participation of researchers such as Derrel
Sims, Michael lindermann, Nick Pope, Marcus

break. A seasoned researcher and former
editor of the Cereologist: Crop Circle
magazine, Mr. Wingfield trained at Trinity
College m Dublin, Ireland.
He has travelled the world at length,
researching on all bearings of the UFO
phenomena. After returning from Australia,
he took up a research project in what are,
nowadays, called UFTs and he recited some of
his evidence for their presence above us.
Amongst one of his more evident fears
were that these objects have been seen, on
numerous occasions, flying directly over
nuclear power stations and he went on to
itemise the observations above the Indian
Plant, near to the Hudson River, Buchana in
New York State, USA, during the 1970s and
the early 1980s.
Linked in with this, he showed us some
astounding slides of one-time secret stealth
aircraft such as the Stealth-fighter, the B2
bomber, the SR-71 Blackbird and one object,
quite unfamiliar to many present, code-named
Tacit Blue' which has apparently made test
flights above the notorious Groom Lake
facility in Nevada, USA.
Whilst giving me the sense that many
sightings in the US could be credited to secret
military testing, he rejected my obvious
question of military testing over this country,

Dr Rauni-Kilde forwards her findings on the
US governments Black Budget UFO Research
Allen, Jenny Randles and Philip Mantle, to
name but a deluxe few.
They have put on four such UFO
conferences before, in various places around
the north-west, but for the re-vamped Pendle
and Hyburn UFO Research Group, this was
their first time around.
The conference agenda was very
y êssive, as you'd expect from LAPIS, for
u^*e was a smattering of conspiracy - a bit of
unseen NASA film footage courtesy of Burnley
native Rodney Howarth, abduction yarns
galore and a couple of crop circles too. All
good material, especially for the uninitiated.
The audience, numbering around 100, sat
speechless, savouring the preferred appearance
of the first speaker, Eric Morris.
Eric kicked off his UFO calling in 1977,
after a period in the medical profession
working as a general nurse, when he joined
the British UFO Association. After completing
a 5 year psychiatry course, he served in the
Royal Navy during 1980 to 1985, at sites such
as HMS Royal Arthur, near Corsham, Wiltshire
in the UK, where his training as a medical
officer required him to visit a man who
claimed to have been abducted one day in a
naval hospital in 1982.
He told the audience that he returned to
the UFO enigma during the 1993/4 period
after coming across a UFO magazine one day,
and since then, there has been no looking
back for him.
In May 1996, Eric retired from the nursing
profession to form the 'Alien Abduction
Counselling Centre', which is highly sought
out both here in the UK and in the United
States, for its work dealing with many
'missing time' victims. Enough so, that Eric is
travelling over to America later in the year to
meet with colleagues there and exchange
information he has been collecting on odd
hieroglyphic lettering.
Eric wanted to make
two points absolutely clear
in his lecture. One, that he
has no hesitancy in saying
that there definitely exists
an "alien/human hybrid
breeding program" and that
two, "through regressive
hypnotherapy", a practice
he is fully qualified and fit
to do, "we will find the key
to the UFO phenomena and
its release to the public."
George Wingfield then
addressed the audience
with a talk entitled "Are Tiro Rifat - who shared his thoughts on remote viewing with

Dear Fellow Seeker of Wisdom
I feel that it is my duty to inform you of a rather disturbing situation that has arisen
between BEAMS and the proprietors of the magazine UFO REALITY, along with their
sister company ARK SOUNDWA VES of GLASTONBURY.
Several months ago, some important information came my way regarding the existence
of an exceptionally interesting home video, which was reported to display an actual *y**
living alien entity . Surrounded by claims of a cover up -the film was virtually
unheard of by the UFO Community at that stage and was not, (nor
has been since that time), released commercially.
The Plan
With no time to lose , a coalition was formed between three interested BEAMS
parties, with the view to purchasing, (and disclosing to the world), a copy of
what may turn out to be the closest thing that we have so far in the way of ultimate
proof for the existence of UFO's and Aliens.
A deal was struck, and three copies, of this video tape were secretly made,one for each
of the three researchers concerned, which included myself.
At the time these copies were handed over to us, we were
warned NOT to show our tapes to anyone, as there was now
CIA involvement, after they had put a block on fhp
distribution and television rights to the viHPn
Background
The images were captured in Toluca, Mexico, in 1994 by one Maria Quevas, and
represent what Jaime Maussan described as a; "praying mantis-like creature, moving
through a maizefield",[The creature has short horns, is internally lit and is rippling
with an energy-field.].
After a great deal of UFO activity over the area the night before, the witness, whose
apartment overlooks the field in question, noticed lights and movement, and grabbed
her camcorder, quickly zooming in. What she she saw through the viewfinder has
changed her life..

Along with a university professor and several other accredited technicians, Jaime
Maussan has computer analysed the Toluca film at length - and is convinced of its
authenticity, so much so, that after showing the film at a conference in Washington
D.C, in 1995, he proclaimed that; "this proves beyond all doubt that they are here and
watching over usw.
When Jaime presented this footage, there was a gasp of astonishment from the
audience, and everyone must have automatically assumed that this evidence would be
released in the form of a documentary by GENESIS III, the production company most
often associated with UFO material originating.from Mexico.
Yet this did not happen; everything has gone suspiciously quite, and to this date the
ONLY magazine to have made reference to any of this is UFO REALITY, but only
about one line to the effect of Mwe are looking into the matter "..(The event happened in
1994, how much more time do they need?) Still, only very few investigators seem to
be aware of this film, even so-called international bodies.
As BEAMS intends to stage a mammouth convention in Bradford on the 8th of
November this year, and the fact that WE WILL BE SCREENING ONE OF THE
REMAINING TWO COPIES OF "THE TOLUCA ALIEN1» VIDEO, we
attempted to gain some publicity by contacting THE PEOPLE newspaper about this
amazing film.
Fallout
Sure enough, a reporter promptly arrived at our headquarters, and he was suitably
impressed by what I had to show him. It was explained to me that, in order for The
People's production team to obtain a "video grab*1 of the creature for a possible article,
the reporter had to take the video away with him. Reluctantly I agreed, and he supplied
me with a signed receipt for said.
However, after The People had finished with the tape they incorrrectly mailed it
to UFO REALITY rather than BEAMS, for reasons that I cannot fathom
tape, and have held this material for some two months now, steadfastly
refiising to return our property saying, and I quote "this is not your
territory in the first place, -we believe that you have been making illegal
copies of this cassette and selling them for profit/1
I emphatically deny these allegations. Our only goal in purchasing the Toluca
footage was to expose the truth. Obviously we have now fallen out with Jon King,
David Duhig, and others connected to both UFO REALITY/ARK/SOUNDWAVES,

THE VOICE OF THE KING
Of oil those making noise on the UFO front, The Voice stands alone in the muddy waters,
always looking over his shoulder for fear of being silenced, writes ANDY ROBERTS
he silencers have been at it again.
Yet another brave soul prepared to
bear witness to the alien presence
on Earth has been hushed up. Barry
King might be unfamiliar to
Forteans, but he has got a long track record in
the UFO subject. In the 1970s he was part of
UFQIN, the legendary 'rapid response'
investigation team set up by Jenny Randles.
Along with Andy Collins» Graham Philips and
Martin Keatman, he investigated some of the
UK's most remarkable UFO cases yet, such as
the Aveley Abduction. Indeed, King was the
subject of one particularly bizarre CE4 case,
the pseudonymous 'Paul Grant Affair' in
which implants were placed in his cranium
and chest cavity.
His co-investigators went on to psychic
questing and books about the Holy Grail,
Shakespeare, angels and Robin Hood while
Barry went underground. Literally. Between
1979 and 1980, King alleges that he worked as
a security guard in a top secret installation
deep under the Berkshire countryside where
he learned that 'super stealth' craft utilising
technology gleaned from aliens were being
tested on Salisbury Plain and elsewhere. He
saw it with his own eyes, placing him in a
situation analogous to the renegade physicist
Bob Lazar, who claims to have back»
engineered technology from captured UFOs
into US 'black project' craft.
The plot thickens. During the mid 1990s
King published a series of increasingly
strange monographs under a new appellation.

Metamorphosis had taken place and King was now 'The Voice',
referring to himself as such in the third person^ The documents,
also called The Voice, offered a potpourri of prime ufolunacy
including lists of ufoiogists being watched by the intelligence
services because they were 'too close to the truth'. Conversely,
King re-roasted the hoary chestnut about certain UFO researchers
being 'plants' to help the same intelligence services manipulate
the subject.
There was much more: remote viewing and ghost sightings were
second nature to The Voice; as were the repeated and somewhat
tiresome abductions in which he was 'taken' for periods of up to 62
hours at a time. The Voice is essential reading if accompanied by a
good hit of sodium chloride. Get it (The Voice that is) from 27 The

The Voice and his yarns were all heady stuff for the sleepy
British ufological community to take in. But, together with The
X-Files and the explosion in paranormal magazines in which truth
is rarely a barrier to a good yam, King has been influential to a
slew of highly active ufoiogists including Matthew Williams, Miles
Johnstone, Eric Morris and Richard Conway. Consolidating the
American strand of the UFO mythos at grass-roots level in the UK,
his ideas are turning up unquestioned in mainstream UFO
literature, videos and conference lectures.
Yet life for a whistle-blower is far from easy. In the first issue of
The Voice, King was proclaiming his mission to expose the evil
machinations of the controllers and their craft, saying: "The Voice
goes it alone, even threats to its physical body will not prevent The
Voice from speaking." But that was before paranoia had set in. By
early 1997 he was a worried man, taking no chances and choosing
not to drive because he had been told that "hit and runs are the
easiest and cleanest methods of silencing someone with no come
backs or repercussions".
These worries might not have been entirely unfounded. In May
1997, King was booked to lecture on the subject of British
Underground Bases at a conference in Burnley, Lancashire.
Following a promotional appearance on Radio Lancashire,
King dramatically pulled out, claiming threats and a
beating. A statement sent to the organisers LAPIS told of
menaces such as: "Can it or face the consequences," and
finishing with: "The threats are TERMINAL this time,
they do not mince words, they mean it. Sorry." Heavy stuff,
but as with much in ufology we are faced with the question
of how much, if any, of King's story is actually true.
Sceptics might argue that it is King himself who is
manipulating the more gullible researchers in the field,
that he's as much part of the problem as the solution.
Possibly. One of his slogans was: "Let us try to clear the
muddied waters of ufology." A noble sentiment, but his
tales of subterranean derring-do and subcutaneous
implants have left the waters more clouded than ever.
Perhaps we should take more notice of another of his pithy
epigrams: "The puppets are mobile and it is we who pull
the strings."
Like Bob Lazar and Armen Victorian, King is but one of
the many shadowy enigmas who stalk the fringes of
mainstream ufology. Now you see them, now you don't.
These cosmic Cassandras tantalise with hints of recondite
knowledge, shamelessly flaunting their closeness to where
it's really at; to where you want to be too. Prophetic or

good science fiction/conspiracy theory drama.
Starring Douglas Hodge, Leslie Grantham, Lia Williams and Sylvestra
Le Touzel, it is written b y Peter Bowker (CausuaJfy, Peak Practice,Oui of
the Blue), directed b y Norman Stone (Shadowlands, The Black VeJvef
Gown) and p r o d u c e d b y Ruth Bowel! (The Chief) for Zenith Productions.
Archie Tait, of Zenith, and Leslie Grantham a r e Executive Producers. It
was filmed entirely on location in East Anglia.
Douglas H o d g e plays photographer Steve Blake who investigates a series
of mysterious deaths a n d disappearances in the belief that he has
uncovered a high level conspiracy and cover up. The conspiracy is in
some way linked to the ghostly drowned village of Sweethope and central
to it is Chief Inspector Gates, played by Leslie Grantham.
At first Blake, assisted b y his ex-wife, journalist Joanna Ball (Sylvestra Le
Touzel) suspects that h e has stumbled upon a Ministry of Defence
experiment which has run out of control, but inexorably he and Gates's exwife Melissa (Ma W i l l i a m s ) are led to the conclusion that the force
behind the conspiracy may not be human.....

FILMED INTERVIEW TOOK PLACE ON THE EVENING OF THE 14TH AT MY HOME.
THE RÁPIDO FILM CREW, INCLUDING ADRIAN AND THE PRODUCER, 6 GUYS IN ALL, DULY
ARRIVED AT ABOUT 7PM, CHOPPING AND CHANGING THE FURNITURE IN THE LOUNGE,
FIXING UP BACKLIGHTS, ETC, ETC, TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES OR SO, THE FILMING
ITSELF WENT ON FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, BY THE TIME IT WAS ALL WRAPPED UP IT WAS
ALMOST 9PM, EVERYONE THOUGHT THE INTERVIEW WENT VERY WELL, NERVEWRACKING
BUT WENT WELL.
TWO DAYS LATER, THE 16TH, THE FIRST OF THE NEW SERIES OF FORTEAN TV AIRED,
AND THAT MORNING I RECEIVED IN THE POST COPIES OF THE RELEASE FORMS FROM
RÁPIDO.
THE LAST PHONE CALL I RECEIVED FROM ADRIAN WAS ON THE 2ÛTH, JUST TO CLARIFY
ONE OR TWO POINTS FOR THE PROG, ALL WAS SET AND READY IT SEEMS.
FRIDAY EVENING, THE 23RD, GRAHAM TELEPHONED TO SAY THAT THE MIB FEATURE
WOULD BE ON NEXT WEEKS PROGRAMME.
FRIDAY 3ÛTH JANUARY, 8PM, CHANNEL 4, I SAT NERVOUSLY IN FRONT OF THE TV, AS
DID MY FAMILY, AS DID I'M SINCE TOLD, BY QUITE A FEW UFOLOGISTS, THE MIB PART
WAS SQUEEZED INTO A TINY SECOND HALF OF THE PROG, EVERYONE ELSE WAS THERE, BUT
AS THE CREDITS ROLLED BY AND THE JOVIAL LIONEL FANTHORPE SANG HIS LITTLE SONG
AT THE END, I SAT THERE SPEECHLESS, OTHER THAN MUTTERING THE PHRASE

THE RUMOURS STARTED THICK AND FAST VERY SOON AFTER 8.3ÛPM THAT FRIDAY NIGHT,
I RESOLVED TO PHONE RÁPIDO ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY MORNING AND ENQUIRE AS TO
WHAT HAPPENED TO MY INTERVIEW.

RING ME BACKI BY THE END OF THE DAY HE HAD NOT RETURNED MY CALL SO I
PHONED AGAIN, AND GOT STRAIGHT THRU TO HIM.
HE SOUNDED A LITTLE GUILTY, A LITTLE SHEEPISH WHEN HE APOLOGISED FOR MY
INTERVIEW NOT APPEARING, ESPECIALLY AFTER ALL THE TROUBLE EVERYONE HAD
GONE TO TO ORGANISE IT.
WHEN PUSHED AS FOR THE REASON HE APPEARED VERY FLUSTERED AND REALLY WANTED
TO SKIRT AROUND THE ISSUE, WHEN PUSHED EVEN FURTHER HE ADMITTED THAT THE
INTERVIEW WAS A BIT TOO CONTROVERSIAL FOR THIS FORMAT, SO CHANNEL 4 HAD
DITCHED IT, HE SOUNDED VERY APOLOGETIC AND EMBARRASSED ABOUT IT ALL, HE
SAID SORRY AND RANG OFF.
AT FIRST RÁPIDO WANTED TO INTERVIEW JIM TEMPLETON FOR THE PROG BUT HE WAS
ILL, ALL OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS I WAS INFORMED ABOUT WERE ON, INCLUDING
THE SECURITY GUARD (JAN '97 MIB CASE), NICK POPE AND JENNY RANDLES» THEN
I'M TOLD DURING THE CONVERSATION WITH ADRIAN ON THE 2ND OF FEB THAT JLM
SUDDENLY GOT BETTER AND HIS INTERVIEW TOOK PLACE AFTER ALL, ADRIAN FUDGED
AROUND SAYING TIME DID NOT ALLOW MY INTERVIEW ANYWAY, SO
WELL, THOSE OF YOU WHOM WATCHED THE PROG WILL NO DOUBT AGREE THAT THE FIRST,
AND LONGEST, HALF OF THE PROG CONTAINED CRAP THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED IN

CHANNEL 4 PULLED MY INTERVIEW FOR THEIR OWN REASONS, ADRIAN TOLD ME THE
CHANGES WERE VERY HURRIEDLY MADE ON THURSDAY THE 29TH JAN, THE DAY BEFORE.
INCIDENTALLY, AND CO-INCIDENTALLY, I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL OUT OF THE BLUE
FROM MATT WILLIAMS OF TRUTHSEEKERS IN SOUTH WALES, I HAD NOT HEARD FROM HIM
IN MANY A MONTH!!.
WELL, THATS IT, MY BIT IN THE PROG WAS PULLED AT THE LAST MINUTE FOR A VARIETY
OF REASONS IT SEEMS, EVEN THOUGH A GREAT DEAL OF TIME, EFFORT AND MONEY WENT
INTO IT, GETTING THE CREW TO MY HOME AND FILMING IS NOT EXACTLY A CHEAP THING
TO DO.
CHANNEL 4 IN THEIR WISDOM TOOK CONTROL AND PULLED MY INTERVIEW BECAUSE MY
STATEMENTS WERE TOO CONTROVERSIAL FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE UK TO TAKE
IN, FAIR ENOUGH.
A POSSIBLE TIE-IN REASON WHY MY INTERVIEW WAS PULLED FROM THE SCHEDULE
I'M RELIABLY INFORMED THAT SAID CHANNEL 4 ARE PUTTING TOGETHER ( MAY ALREADY
BE DONE, AWAITING AIRING) A UFO DOCUMENTARY WITH A DIFFERENCE, THIS ONE
WILL TRY VERY VERY HARD TO DEBUNK THE SUBJECT OF UFO'S AND UFOLOGY IN GENERAL,

etired USAF Sergeant Dan Sherman
admits that his "inside" account of alien
contact and government cover-up, Above
Black, is limited in scope because his "need
to know" had a low priority in the militar)'.
In 1982, just out of high school Sherman
joined the US Air Force as a security policeman, but in the early *90s was 'selected' for
retraining at the National Security Agency
(NSA) as an electronic intelligence
(ELINT) analyst for the USAF.
Tnere he was briefed on US Government
contact with aliens (the Greys), established
in 1947; and on the 1960-68 Project
Preserve Destiny, set up to "genetically
manage" selected humans for communicating intuitively with the aliens. Sherman was
toid that the Greys abducted his mother in
I960, and also in 1963 when they carried
out a genetic procedure while he was still in
the womb. Unbenownst to him, he was
bom with enhanced telepathic abilities, and

The NSA caught up with Sherman, for his
ELINT course was a cover for his training

1. Early in the morning of 27 Dec 80 (approximately 0300L}, two USAf
security police patrolmen saw unusual lights outside the back gate at
RAf koodbndge. Thinking an aircraft ¡night have crashed or been forced
down, they called for permission to go outside the gate to investíoste.
The cn-dtity flight chief "espondeo s-nd ¿llowed three pâtre-.-:-' :c proceed on foot, the individuuls repjrted seeing a strange glowing object
in the forest. The object was described as being hiatal ic in upuear¿»nce
and triangular in sh.ipe, ?pprc; \<. .¿i-.-iy two tu three meters J J U Í -, r.v
base and approximately two meters high. It illuminated the entire forest
with a white light. The object Uself hàô a pulsing red light on tcp end
a bank(s) of blue lights underneath. The object *as hovering or on legs.
As the patrolmen approached the object, it maneuvered through the trees
and disappeared. At this time the animals on a nearby farm went into a
frenzy. The object was briefly sighted approximately an hour later near
the back gate.
2. The next day, three depressions 1 ]/2* deep and 7" in diameter were
found where the object had been sighted on the ground. The following
night (29 Dec 8C) the area was checked for radiation. Beta/ganuiw readings
of 0.1 mi H i roentgens were recorded with peak readings in the thn*e depressions ànà near the center of the triangle formed by the depressions.
A nearby tre^ had moderate (.05-.07} readings on the side of the tree
toward the degressions.
3. Later in the night a red sun-like light was seen through the t:-¿ss.
It nsoved about and pulsed. At one point it appeared to throw off glowing
particles and then broke into five separate white objects and then disappeared. In*i¡ed*ate1y thereafter, three star-like objects were noticed

Why are t h e MOD refusing to sell a disused American Airbase? W h y did they "rob" a bu;
man of 2 million p o u n d s deposit w h e n h e offered to buy t h e base a n d develop it? What
For the past year I have been in touch
with Chris Parker, managing director of the
C.P.G. (Chris Parker Group). The C.P.G
put in a hid for the Beniwaters airbase in
1995, after the previous sale failed. Chris
Parker is used to going to hases of all sorts
and stripping them of all saleable assets,
turning them into large development
projects. This time however, things didn 't
run as smoothly as he was used to.
Suffolk Coastal and District Council had
already agreed with the MoD that the base
just a blot on the landscape as it had not
been in use since 1992. They had decided
that the best thing to do was arrive at a quick.
sale and sell the base for the land value as
opposed to the building value. This seems to
be the best solution in effect because the
projects being considered by the C.P.G.
were development projects and as such
would have created jobs in the area and
greater commerce.
The Americans, since their occupation,
financed the buildings on the base under the
NATO agreement; which took place after
the war. In this capacity the MoD were not
losing out by selling the base cheaply.
C.P.G. made an offer to the MoD to buy the
base, a deal which was accepted and upon
which a deposit had been paid. Why then did
this deal with ihe r P.G. fail through
towards the end of 1996. after the deal had
been on the table, and in agreement for one
year? Why did they not give him 14 days
notice. Did the Mod not know that by not
giving 14 days notice that they were
breaking British law?
The answers to these questions are
troubling
because
they rely
on
investigators delving deeper and deeper
into a possible nuclear incidents in the area
and possible nuclear storage at this and
other nearby airbases. To answer the first
question, the MoD cancelled the deal with
the C.P.G. because Chris Parker was not
doing the right form of development. The
only acceptable form of development for
that airbase as far as the MoD was
concerned is maintaining it's use as an
airport, in this case to be used regularly
instead of Ipswich airport. I for one,
knowing the amount of nuclear weapons
that were stored in the base and according
to many military witnesses in a secret
underground facility, would not travel
from that airport. Is it reasonable for the
MoD to force a developers hand in this
STRUCTURALLY UNSOUND
Mr Chris Parker's story starts when his
company starts trying to do some borehole
testing on the runway. His first observation
was that this particular runway was one of
the most structurally unsound runways of
all the airbases he had visited in the
country. ît was not level and had many dips
in the concrete. In order to get a better idea
of the level of inconstancies he needed to
do testing of the base runways and earth.
To be able to do the borehole testing in the
first place he had to request permission
from the MoD which was subsequently
denied on more than one occasion. When
permission was finally granted he was
directed to certain spot on the base and
told that he was only able to conduct
drilling tests at this location. In addition
these tests also had to be
conducted
whilst under
supervision. Never in the
Parker groups history had
they ever had to go through
so many formalities in order
to do a simple drilling test!

strange, there's a crystalline ... pine sap has come out that fast. You say there's other

something and sat it down and twisted it from side to side. Very strange. We're
looking at the same tree we took the sample off with this, what d'you call it?
Starscope. Getting a definite heat reflection off the tree, what, about 3 or 4 feet
[1-1-2 ml off the ground?

and where we get a high radioactivity reading a deflection of 2 to 3 maybe 4, depending on the point of...

Voice: Yes there is definitely. That's on the center spot. There is an after-effect.
Voice: What does that mean?
Voice: It means that when the lights are turned off, once we are focused in and allow time
for the eyes to adjust, we are getting an indication of a heat source coming out of
that center spot, which will show up on the ...

Heat or some sort of energy. It's hardly heat at this stage oí the game. Looking directly overhead one can see an opening in the trees plus some freshly broken pine
branches on the ground. Looks like some of them came off about 15 or 20 feet |4-5-6
mj up. Some small branches, about an inch [2-5 cm) or less in diameter.

the barnyard animals have gone quiet now. We're heading about 110, 120° from the
site out through to the clearing now. Still getting a reading on the meter. About two
clicks. Needle's jumped. 3 to 4 clicks, getting stronger.

I saw a yellow tinge in it too. Weird. It appears to be mavbe moving a little bit this
way? It's brighter than it has been. It's coming this way. it doubt about it. This is

Halt: Keep your flashlights off. There's something very very strange. Keep the headset
on; see if it gets any ...

You want to do without lights? Let's do it carefully; come on. OK, we're looking at
the thing. We're probably about 2 to 300 yards [183-274 m] away. It looks like an eye
winking at you. Still moving from side to side. And when you put the Starscope on
it, it's like this thing has a hollow center, a dark center, like the pupil of an eye looking at you, winking. And it flashes so bright in the Starscope that it almost burns
your eye.

We've passed the farmer's house and across into the next field and now- we have
multiple sightings of up to 5 lights with a similar shape and all, but they seem to be
steady now rather than pulsating or glow with a red flash. We've just crossed a
creek and we're getting what kind of readings now? We're getting 3 good clicks on
the meter and we're seeing strange lights in the sky.
2:44. We're at the far side of the second farmer's field and made sighting again
about 110*. This looks like it's clear off to the coast. It's right on the horizon. Moves
about a bit and flashes from time to time. Still steady or red m color. Also after negative readings in the center of the field we're picking up slight readings; 4 or 5 clicks
now, on the meter.
3:05. We see strange strobe-like flashes to the, er ... well, they're sporadic, but there's
definitely some kind of phenomenon. At about 10*... horizon, directly north, we've
got two strange objects, er, half-moon shape, dancing about with colored lights on
'em. That, er, guess to be about 5 to 10 miles [8-16 km] out, maybe less. The
half-moons are now turning to full circles, as though there was an eclipse or something there, for a minute or two.
0315. Now we've got an object about 10° directly south, 10C off the horizon. And the
ones to the north are moving. One's moving away from us.
Voice: It's moving out fast!
Voice: This one on the right's heading away too;
Halt: They're both heading north. OK, here he comes from the south, he's coming towards us now. Now we're observing what appears to be a beam coming down to
the ground. This is unreal!

Dear Mr. King,
Apologies for time taken to respond to your correspondence - heavy workloads has resulted in a vast
backlog of personal mail/queries that I am only now able to turn my attention to.
Let me assure you at the outset that neither of our publications has ever been subjected to any form of
outside pressure or interference by either government or intelligence agencies. Over 2,000 NSA personnel
work at Menwith Hill (4 miles from our offices) and the majority live in this area. Whilst it is true to say
we have had visits from NSA employees, these at no time have remotely taken on a sinister turn.
In point of fact, I have only just published a major item on NSA in our current issue of The Unopened
Files, which is not only highly critical of their surveillance methods against industry, but includes phrases
from their classified "Security Guidelines" manuals. This article is supported by factual documentation
and a recent European Commission report into NSA activities.
In your own case, I have yet to see any recent submission by your good self cross my desk » that is a fact
you may be unaware of. I do recall reading or hearing about your being threatened, but that was last year I
believe. My instinctive reaction to that was: Has he made an official complaint to the police and if so,
what transpired? Has he written to his Member of Parliament?, etc.
Assuming you have done one or the other (or both), I would be interested in learning the outcome. You
should really take a hard look at what we publish, especially in The Unopened Files, before accusing us
of being subject to some form of official censorship.

SUGGESTING OFFICIAL CENSORSHIP AGAINST YOUR ORGANISATION/PUBLICATIONS, IF YOU
CARE TO RE-READ MY LETTER YOU WILL SEE THAT I'M ACCUSING YOU OF CENSORSHIP TO
OTHERS» MYSELF INCLUDED, WHETHER ACCIDENTAL OR INTENTIONAL.

TRY TO SPELL THINGS OUT IN MY LETTER.
REGARDING THE OTHER POINT YOU MENTION, AND HERE AGAIN YOUR COLLEAGUE TONY DODD
SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION FOR YOU, BEING AN EX"POLICEMAN.
VERY BRIEFLY IT GOES LIKE THIS: I MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT, MY STATEMENTS ARE
CHANNELED UP THRU THE CHIEF CONSTABLE/CHIEF INSPECTOR LEVEL AT POLICE HQ HERE
IN CHELMSFORD, NOW BECAUSE THIS IS A NATIONAL DEFENCE ISSUE IT CHANNELS THRU
TO SPECIAL BRANCH/MI5, Ml5 LIAISE CLOSELY WITH NSA, NSA GIVE Ml5 ONE OF THOSE
LOOKS AND SAYS 'DROP IT', AND BELIEVE ME IT WILL BE DROPPED, NO ACTION WILL BE
TAKEN BECAUSE. ALL ANYONE IN THE CHAIN WILL HAVE TO SAY/BE TOLD, IS "IT IS A
DEFENCE OR NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE
IT GOES NO FURTHER".
THE SAME GOES WITH MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, IT WILL GO SO FAR THEN ENQUIRIES WILL
BE STONEWALLED ON THE GROUNDS OF NATIONAL SECURITY MATTERS
ASK ANYONE HOW
