How to Rig on a Cisco
- first remove the detachable
double hook from wire
- insert the oval loop end
into the mouth of frozen bait
- as soon as the oval end appears
out the poop hole of bait,
re-apply the double hook and
pull back inside the bait.
- the frozen bait is now secure
and your ready to catch fish.
- additional minnows can be
added if their size will allow it.

About it
The strip-on has been around for many years.
many fishermen have sworn by it’s ability and
unique capabilities. Since the 1960’s Lucky-O
tackle has manufactured this lure for anglers
in the North Western Ontario region. Today,
the same specifications are used and the results
will never be different. Lake trout can’t resist
the temptation of this lure.
This lure was designd specificaly to prolong
the use of your bait. threading the wire through
the entire frozen minnow or Cisco and attaching
the double hook ensures the longest lasting
bait possible. the (metal) lip guard that protects
the nose of your bait slips secruly inside the
mouth and deflects the water or weeds around
the minnow.
The blade design also plays a big factor in
the baits success. this fast turning oval
shaped blade called the (presto blade) has
a unique cup (lip) at the tip of the blade.
this gives the life to your presentation.

To use this lure, take a large dead minnow or Cisco, remove the double hook
from the bottom end of the Strip-On, and perform field surgery on the minnow
by shoving the flattened, oval loop end of the rig into the minnow's mouth,
right straight through and out the minnows butt. Re-thread the double hook
back through the loop. Note: this lure comes with two hook sizes to choose from.
keep the extra hook in your tackle box for other size bait.
