UFTP now operate with 58 members and 200 researchers The Objectives of UFTP: • Objective 1: Creating contact points in decision making bodies of private/public/international research institutions and industry organizations. • Objective 2: Determining technical and non-technical handicaps arises in PV power system applications and suggesting solutions. • Objective 3: Pursuit financial support opportunities for starting national or international PV technology partnerships. • Objective 4: Defining the possible national and international R&D and practice priorities on cost reduction of PV power systems. • Objective 5: Collecting data on status of PV systems in Turkey. • Objective 6: In situ testing and analyzing of selected PV power systems installed in the country. UFTP & IEA-PVPS Workshop Advantages Of and Possible Issues Surrounding Grid-Connected PV Power Systems Workshop - today In collaboration with the IEA-PVPS, UFTP will host an exceptional workshop on 16th Feb., 2011 naming “Advantages of and Possible Issues Surrounding Grid-Connected PV Power Systems”. Workshop will be held in the İstanbul Chamber of Industry’s Odakule Conference Hall with the participation of 22 IEA-PVPS member countries’ representatives, along with the EPIA (European Photovoltaic Industry Association) and SEPA (Solar Electric Power Association – USA) representatives. “Australia, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, USA, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, andTurkey with EPIA and SEPA” Prof. Dr. E.
