PRODUCT UPDATE
** IMPORTANT INFORMATION **
Shortly, the PCB printed circuit boards of our SEBO AUTOMATIC X4/5 and SEBO AUTOMATIC XP1/2/3
machines will be changed to an advanced state-of-the-Art version. This refers to the PCB 12V POWER
SUPPLY (#5193ER) and COMPUTER CONTROLLER (#5740ER).
What is going to change?
- Old and new versions will not be able to inter-operate with each other, i.e. old and new PCB generations can
only be operated together as a set. However, the spare parts supply with PCBs of the old generation is
secured for the next few years. When in doubt, the new Version should be used as a set of both boards for
replacements.
- In terms of a clear differentiation, both new PCBs will receive new part numbers.
- As the new PCBs no longer provide a galvanic isolation, they will possibly be under electric power and must
not be touched. Therefore it is most important to turn off and unplug the machine before any
maintenance is carried out. For safety reasons it is essential that any maintenance must be done by an
authorised service technician.
- The new computer controller will be equipped with high-grade LED lights. These will shine brighter than
before and will be highly visible.
When exactly does the changeover take place?
Effective immediately for the X4 with all other machines above progressively upgrading with full change over
complete by 2016.

If in doubt do not hesitate to contact us with Serial No. to correctly identify the PCB required.

Readjustment of the filter indicator - X Series
Please note: The computer controller will be delivered pre-adjusted with standard values. If a readjustment seems to be necessary this may be done on site as listed below:
1. Plug in the machine and pull out the hose. Attach the white cap (5429WE) to the end of the hose.
2. Switch on an electric torch (not included in delivery) and illuminate the LED above “Check Brush”.
3. Turn on the machine and the LED “Bag full” will light up in red. Torch can be removed. When the red
LED “Bag full” turns off the automatic readjusting is finished.
4. Turn off the machine and remove the white cap from the hose.
