The TCL Series is designed and manufactured with super-bright
LEDs, resulting in exceptional readability, even in direct
sunlight. Every sign is housed in a corrosive-resistant cabinet,
engineered to endure high vibratory conditions and ships
with our unique Lift’N Shift™ wall mounting back* for fast
and simple installation.
With direct-view technology we can overlay* or layer several
different messages in a single sign, reducing the sign cabinet
to about half its original size! We offer a wide selection of
standard messages and sizes and will custom-design a sign to
meet your specific needs.

blanks-out* when off. Designed with high power LEDs that are
50% brighter and consume 75% less energy than neon signs;

guaranteed readable even on the sunniest days without a visor!

Phēnix is the smart replacement for our former neon and
incandescent signs because it fits the same cabinet footprint
and the sharp new look makes this the ideal product to use
when upgrading a bank drive-thru or a parking garage.
Messages can be alpha-numeric characters, logos or symbols
that illuminate in white, green, red or amber. The extruded
cabinet is 2.5" deep and features our unique Lift’N Shift™
cabinet back* for wall mounting. Ceiling, post and recessed
mounting brackets can be purchased separately. See pages
22-23 for details.

This style sign is ideally suited for displaying warning and safety
messages indoors. The sign displays the message when illuminated
and extinguishes or blanks-out* the message when off.
Units are backlit with LEDs that emit light through a stencil
cut, message panel covered by a tinted protective face. The
extruded aluminum cabinet is 3" deep and features our
unique Lift’N Shift™ back* for wall mounting. Ceiling, post and
recessed mounting brackets can be purchased separately.

One of our most economical products for directing traffic is the
TCIL and TCI Series Traffic Controllers. They are available in a
horizontal or vertical orientation and are perfect for post, wall or
canopy mounting.
TCILV / TCIV Vertical Dimensions
Our TCIL Series unit uses two LED light engines as the illumination
source, producing light more efficiently and with lower power
consumption. A smooth, color-molded, polycarbonate lens
is used to take advantage of the superior LED direct-view
illumination. Lenses are available in green, red, blue and amber.
Our original TCI Series Traffic Controllers use two incandescent
bulbs as the illumination source and are designed with Fresnel
lenses for increased light distribution. Existing TCI Series Traffic
Controllers can be easily upgraded with the TCIH or TCIV LED
UPGRADE-KIT.

Light Engine Specifications
LED Light Engine
LED Light Engine is a direct-view LED design with
a brass base. This LED lamp fits a standard medium
base socket, draws 3 watts of power and is vibration
resistant. Our direct-view LED design guarantees
visibility in direct sunlight. Light Engines are available in
five colors: Green, Red, Amber, Blue and White. It is a
replacement lamp for the Signal-Tech TCIL Series Traffic Controller.
5-year Warranty. Not recommended for ambient lighting.

A non-illuminated panel system with a 1 1⁄4" wide by 11⁄4" deep
mitered aluminum frame that is designed to be surface
mounted. Available as small as 12" x 12" and as large as 48" x 96."
The frame is locked together with corner keys and countersunk
screws. All mounting fasteners are internal, making it vandal
resistant. Messages and logos are applied using sign quality
vinyl on an aluminum panel. All frames can be color matched
to meet your needs. This non-illuminated format can be
used for mid-size signs intended for primary and secondary
site identification as well as directional and informational
applications. The DuraPanel Series is equally at home in
an interior setting and can be used for room identification,

This all-aluminum post and panel system features a beveled
picture style frame that carries a single message panel. The frame
assembly slides into slotted 2 1⁄4" x 3" rectangular mounting posts
or optional radius posts. Both post styles can carry the frame
flush or with a 1⁄2" reveal. Concealed locking squares hold the
frame securely in place. This post and panel system can be
used for mid-size signs intended for primary and secondary

This Programmable Message Display features an amber or red
monochrome display complete with its own control software.
The display is designed with wide-angle, super bright LEDs for
off-center viewing and a contrast-enhancing polycarbonate face
that reduces glare and enhances message readability.
The Rebel Control Software includes a 4" and 8.5" high, preloaded
character set; easy message playlist setup and scheduling; and a
built-in auto-save. It supports RS485 serial communications and
is compatible with Windows XP, Vista or higher. A PC is required
to operate the system.
The sign cabinet is constructed of weather and corrosionresistant aluminum and features a hinged cabinet face for easy
installation and maintenance. A conformal coating protects the
electronic components from outside elements, including dust.

With direct-view technology we can overlay or layer several
different messages in a single sign, reducing the sign cabinet to
about half its original size! Messages illuminate individually when
on and blank-out or extinguish when the message or sign is off.
