Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing. Programs for Youth Mother Goose, Toddler Family Place Story Time, Fantastic Fandom, Beatnik Café , and so much more is offered each month in our Youth Department. Contact, Barb, Sharon, or Kathy for information on the programs offered this month! Stop over at the Riverplex at 10am on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays for a special outdoor Story Time session! Come, if you dare, to our Halloween Party for children pre-k through grade 3 on Saturday, October 24th from 1-3pm. If you wear your costume, try not to be too scary! Contact the youth department, extension 106, for more information and to let us know if you’re coming! NCPL Book Talk meets the 1st Monday of each month at 9:30am in the Copernicus Room. A complete list of titles to be discussed is available at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor. Friends of the Library meet the 2nd Monday of each month at 1pm; this month’s meeting is on the first Monday due to the holiday. Library Stitchers meet the 1st and 3rd Friday at 12:30pm. New members are welcome to attend! Computer and Gadget classes are offere3d throughout the week. Call extension 107 to register. Festival of Trees fundraiser If you would like to assist in this fundraiser, please contact Susan Morgan (extension 127) or Sandra Collins (extension 113). Consider participating in this event by purchasing a tree or wreath to be displayed. Theme ideas can be explored but not guaranteed. Proceeds benefit the New Castle Public Library. Friends Indoor Yard Sale—Friday, October 23rd 9am-4:30pm and Saturday, October 24th 9am-1pm Donations for the sale will be accepted beginning on Monday, October 19th at 10am. NO clothing or shoes will be accepted.
