Synopsis
StudvilleTV is a lesbian web series set in Atlanta, Georgia, home to four best friends known as "The Crew". The
web series was created to tell a story real and true, about the day to day drama that ALL relationships
experience whether gay, lesbian, or straight! The show touches on topics that are not portrayed in most media
outlets. It follows “The Crew”, a group of professional “stud” friends who tell the story of dating in the LGBT
community from their point of view! You can only imagine the fireworks and drama that follows.
The show is filled with drama, suspense, action, and comedy. You don’t want to miss it, you never know what will
happen when studs and femmes come together on different levels, paths, and states of mind!!!
We started from the bottom, now we're here! After correcting our mistakes from season one, and growing as a
cast and creative team, StudvilleTV has become one of the most popular lesbian web series on YouTube.
In July 2015, we launched the third Season of StudvilleTV, which premiered online via our website
StudvilleTV.com and YouTube.com/SVTVNetwork.
In our third season, the series has amassed over 9,000,000 views as we head into our highly anticipated
Season 4 to air Fall 2016 via SVTV Network, StudvilleTV is expanding its brand and its representation of the
LGBTQ community.

Executive Producer’s statement
Welcome to another season of StudvilleTV! I would like to personally thank the fans and
all of our supporters for taking this journey with us; it has been a magical ride. Your
support and viewership has encouraged us to keep bringing you bigger and better
content each season, and for that we thank you.
I am always asked why did you start the web series StudvilleTV, and did you think it would
be this successful?
I never would have thought in a million years that so many people would relate to a story that I
had to tell. The stories of my life, and the “Real Crew”. Many in the LGBT community and
heterosexual world can relate because the story is the same around the world, but displayed
through the vision of its creator. It’s real life and real life experiences. Welcome to StudvilleTV!
You know the old saying, “if it were easy, everybody would be doing it”. I must admit that it
has been a struggle at times to consistently bring StudvilleTV to the masses, it’s had it’s
ups and downs. But the look on the cast members faces, the production team, and fans
when we pull it all together…PRICELESS!
What I need for each of you to understand is StudvilleTV is an independent film project,
which means we have a zero to small budget to bring you a quality web series.
In addition, understand that it takes time to bring you a quality product. Creating a web
series is not easy by any stretch, and definitely doesn’t happen over night. I must admit
we are not perfect at times, we are still learning and growing along the way, but
remember anything worth having is worth waiting for and not rushed.

Cast
Shawn Taylor as Riley
Shanae Monique as Zoe Brooks
Jordan Spencer as Lydia
Shawn Taylor was born in Boston,
Massachusetts in 1988. Shortly
after, she moved to Providence, RI
until she was 9, then relocated once
again to Atlanta, GA. After moving
to Atlanta, Shawn became active in
various sports and activities
including softball, football, marching
band, martial arts and many others.
After graduating high school, Shawn
went straight to college earning her
Bachelor’s of Science in
Psychology. Likewise, she now
works in the mental health field
along side clinicians, therapists,
doctors and nurses to provide a
better quality of life to disabled
individuals within the Atlanta
community. In her spare time,
Shawn enjoys health and fitness
activities. Walks in the park, hikes in
the mountains, cross fit/garage
training and standard weight lifting.
Shanae was born on November 5, 1990 in the
Bronx, New York; Nae first fell in with the
theatre and dance at a very early age. At the
early age of 5 years old, Shanae started taking
dance lessons at New York's Dance Theatre of
Harlem. Although she captured the eyes of the
instructors because she looked so beautiful,
Shanae had to do things "her way" and chose
not to dance anymore because she didn't want
to learn the fundamental of the craft and just
wanted to dance. From New York to Atlanta,
when Shanae's Mom decided to relocate to the
ATL, in 2000, she quickly enrolled her into
The Alliance Theatre to broaden her
knowledge of theatre and the performing arts,
making her a triple threat. Although Shanae
was in the Chorus in Middle School dance
kept calling her so she put up the mic and
organized a step team. Despite her many
talents, Shanae keeps returning to dance and
has appeared in the videos of the following
artists: Jupes, Redland, Roscoe Dash, T-Pain,
Rasheeda, OMG Girls and KCamp. Shanae
also auditioned for one of her idols Laurieann
(Boom Kat) Gibson's show "Born to
Dance." Although she didn't win, she made it
through the auditions beating out thousands of
other contestants all the way until the
end. Recently, Shanae appeared on Oxygen’s
Bad Girl’s Club. The Bad Girls Show was
only a launching platform that we are using to
catapult Shanae into her career. The show is
not indicative of who Shanae is as a person, as
seen and viewed by thousands of fans who
affectionately calls, her “Nae.” She is a
dynamic, tenacious, intelligent and funny
young woman who is passionate about her
craft ~ acting/dancing/choreography. She also
just completed her first single, “Do it Nae” and
her first video for that single.
These days, you may see her grace your
television screen as an extra or on your
favorite shows ~ Vampire Diaries, The
Originals, Satisfaction, Ride Along 2, The
Game and Halt & Catch Fire as she pursues
her acting career. To give credit to her acting
skills, she just joined the cast of Studville
Season 3. You may even find her performing
her single, hosting a club in your city,
choreographing or dancing in an artist
video. We don't know where we will see Nae
next, but with her "never give up" motto and
“sky’s the limit attitude,” keep a watch out,
there's still more to come and it will be done
"her way" and yes, “the turn up is real!”
Jordan Spencer’s work in the
entertainment field began behind
the scenes as a production
assistant and wardrobe stylist.
Jordan worked closely with award
winning director Little X on the
production of Choclair’s Lets Ride
video. Jordan’s first debut in acting
was as an extra in murder at 1400
starring Wesley Snipes. Jordan
studied at Toronto’s Second City
acting academy as well as at
Toronto’s Art Institute.
Other favorite hobbies including
traveling, dining, bartending,
networking and relaxing.
Shawn became a cast member of
the popular webseries StudvilleTV in
2012.
She was inspired to try out for the
character of “Riley” after meeting
the producer of the show at a party
and being encouraged to audition
for the part. Shawn states that she
only had to make “little effort” to tap
into her “inner Riley,” the character
known for her sarcasm and blunt
remarks. Shawn does not have any
previous acting experience prior to
StudvilleTV, but actors that she
looks up to for guidance and
standard include: Denzel
Washington, Vince Vaughn, Michael
Cera, Will Smith and of course, the
late Stevie J!
As a talent for Holub modeling
agency in Toronto she has been
involved in numerous commercials
such as Honda and Bell Canada.
Jordan’s current talents as an
actress is displayed in the hit web
series Studville TV as Lydia.
Studville TV is filming in Atlanta, GA
and after a prosperous debut is now
in production of Season 2. As well
as being the founder of To Rise
Above, a relationship and career life
coaching organization, Jordan is
also completing her MA in marriage
and family Therapy.
Jordan will make her debut as an
author with her relationship manual
available winter 2014. In Jordan’s
spare time she participates in yoga,

Reviews
“
In the last few years, there have been several web series
created by and/or and starring LGBT-identified black women,
telling the stories of the community in a way that most TV writers
wouldn’t understand. (That’s because it’s still so rare that TV
writers are black or lesbian, much less black lesbians. It’s
maddening.).”
Trish Bendix, AFTER ELLEN
“
today filmmakers are not letting Hollywood stop them
from creating their own shows. Filmmakers such as Sheri
Johnson who are going forth and creating their own lesbian
drama web series. They are giving voice to
those that are rarely seen in Hollywood, Black Lesbians..”
Kelly J the Writer, LIBERTY VOICE
“
it’s a pretty well written show. I especially like it because it
doesn’t treat our lesbian sisters like sidekicks to a straight
character and instead makes them – and their experiences – the
centerpiece of the show (and this is why we need more Black
LGBTQ shows on television) with actual love lives and interests.
Yes, let’s normalize all Black love. That point, along with the fun
storyline (my favorite being the crazy, stalker girlfriend with no
house furniture), is reason enough to tune in as well as give it a
pass for being yet another show about relationships.”
Charing Ball, MADAME NOIR
“
We've seen so many shows on YouTube that are
lackadaisical but StudvilleTV has always been run with
much skill and quality. The artists and production team
have continued to flourish and they are giving us grade A
quality TV! Yes for the stronger acting, mic packs, B
Roll, and boom operator! together a great production.
Kudos to the cast and crew's professional precision!”
