RE/MAX DFW Associates completed its 25th year in
business with growing to six offices in the Metroplex
and the expansion of its affiliated mortgage company
operation. Certainly 2008 was a challenging year for
many with historic changes in the housing industry
across the nation.
However, the Dallas market
remained one of the nation’s strongest markets.
RE/MAX DFW Associates had a 9.6% decrease in
sales volume from 2007, a significantly stronger
showing than most firms in the Metroplex.
The opening of the Frisco Market Center office on
October 1st poised the company for greater
opportunity for the future due to the continued rapid
growth of the Frisco/Prosper corridor. The 3500 sq ft
Frisco Office Opened October 1, 2008
office at Main and Teal in the fast growing West Frisco
corridor promises to be one of the strongest offices for RE/MAX DFW in the years to come.
DFW Texas Mortgage had good growth during 2008, especially with the greater viability of FHA
and VA financing in the marketplace.
We are excited with the opportunities in 2009! The challenges of the national economy allow for
great opportunity for positive, hard working agents who have set realistic goals for themselves
and then make it happen. RE/MAX DFW is full of this type of agent.

new series “Bang For Your
Buck” which will premiere in
April. Our own Jeanne Slay and
Margie Ellis from the Slay Group
in our Plano office were asked
to come screen test for one of
the episodes. The new series discusses different remodeling
projects and the real estate experts show how the homeowner
went right and where they went wrong so they can get the most
“bang from their buck” on their remodeling investment. HGTV had
60 Dallas realtors tryout for the show, let’s keep our fingers
crossed that we see the Slay Group make the cut.
