Voted the No. 1
Local Television
Personality the
past several years,
Rod has been
delivering the
sports news on
KRCG 13 for three
decades. He’s
covered Super Bowls with the St. Louis
Rams, World Series with the St. Louis
Cardinals and Kansas City Royals,
Missouri bowl games and SEC and Big
12 Championship games, and NCAA
Tournaments for Mizzou. His coverage
of local high school sports on KRCG’s
Football Friday Night and Basketball
Tuesday and Friday Nights is considered
some of the best in the Midwest. Perhaps
he’s best known, however, for Rod’s Big
Ol’ Fish! He’s shown more than 10,000
pictures of viewers and their catches.
Rod also has a passion to help local
charities. He’s the busiest MC in MidMissouri, leading fundraisers like the Heart
Association Heart Ball, the American
Cancer Society Relay for Life, Special
Learning Center events, United Cerebral
Palsy’s “Wing Ding” and “Deal or No Deal,”
along with the annual YMCA benefit
auction. He also supports the Samaritan
Center, United Way, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts,
local churches and civic organizations.
He and his wife, Lana, have been married
for 28 years. Rod spends most of his
free time with his daughters, Brittany,

DAY 5:800%450$,7&3.0/5
Enjoy time at leisure in the quintessential
New England town of Woodstock,
nestled on the edge of the Green
Mountains. Often called “the prettiest
little town in America,” it was settled
in 1768 and still exudes the charms of
yesteryear. Browse the shops, admire
the stately homes and perhaps stroll
across its beloved covered bridge.
Later, we visit the Apple Barn and take
a drive through its scenic, 300-acre
orchard. We spend the next two nights
amidst the comfort and understated
luxury of the Fairfield Inn & Suites in
Great Barrington, Massachusetts, the
heart of the Berkshires. B,D
