Poetry Celebrating
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
By the Fifth Grade Students at Tuscan
School
A collaborative project between the fifth grade
students, faculty (Maura Sackett, Ana Reyes,
Danielle Perrotta, Melanie Secor, Beth Wislinski
and Kimberly Kao) and Amy B. Popp, Library
Media Specialist.
Students wrote cinquain poems during their
library class, edited them in language arts, and
recited them in another library class. Ms. Popp
compiled the work with the help of the fifth grade
faculty.
