The Falcon Hotel is the place to celebrate Christmas in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This year we have our very popular Traditional Party Nights, Festive Lunches
and our Traditional Family Lunches. Every year we host events for thousands
of people who wish to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with us.
We are renowned for the warmth of our welcome and we enjoy hosting
Christmas almost as much as our guests enjoy being with us.
Not forgetting our Evening Celebration Dinner Parties – a great way to have fantastic
food in an intimate private dining room for groups of friends, families or colleagues.
Our festive celebrations are going to be the best in town, with good food and a
great party atmosphere and if you book your Christmas Party night and the deposit
is paid before Thursday 20th October 2016 you will receive a 20% discount for each
guest booked.
Party nights are available from just £29.00 per person, and as you will see there’s

residential Christmas and New Year breaks are always very
popular with a great atmosphere where you will meet new
friends and see familiar faces.
Friday 23rd December 2016
Day one
Every year we host events for thousands of people who
wish to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with us. We
are renowned for the warmth of our welcome and we enjoy
hosting Christmas almost as much as our guests enjoy being
with us.
At 7.00pm join us for a drink in the Lounge Bar. This
is followed by a four-course candlelit gala dinner
especially created for this evening which will be served
in Will’s Place Restaurant. Our entertainer for the
evening will be playing a selection of gentle music to
allow you to sit back and relax, a great way to begin
your Christmas break.
Arrive at The Falcon at your leisure anytime from
2.00pm onwards, check in and relax after your journey.
Traditional afternoon tea will be served from 2.00pm
Saturday 24th December 2016 Christmas Eve – day two
A hearty breakfast awaits you after a good night’s sleep.
The morning is then yours to relax, perhaps browse the shops
or take in some Warwickshire air with a stroll down by the river.
In a unique partnership with Intel, we will be using today’s most
advanced technology in a bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s
magical play, creating an unforgettable theatrical experience.
A light lunch will be served prior to an afternoon at the
Royal Shakespeare Theatre awaits, as you can’t come to the
home of Shakespeare without attending a performance in this
truly outstanding theatre. Make the short journey down to the
Royal Shakespeare Theatre for the matinee performance.
Simon Russell Beale returns to the RSC after 20 years to play
Prospero in a production directed by Artistic Director Gregory
Doran.
During this festive period a performance of The Tempest. Simon
Russell Beale plays Prospero in this ground-breaking production.
On a distant island a man waits.
Robbed of his position, power and wealth, his enemies have left
him in isolation. But this is no ordinary man, and this no ordinary
island. Prospero is a magician, able to control the very elements
and bend nature to his will. When a sail appears on the horizon,
he reaches out across the ocean to the ship that carries the men
who wronged him. Creating a vast magical storm he wrecks the
ship and washes his enemies up on the shore. When they wake
they find themselves lost on a fantastical island where nothing
is as it seems.
The family show for 2016, The Tempest will be the perfect
introduction to Shakespeare for young theatregoers and families.
In association with The Imaginarium Studios.

Dinner this evening is served from 7.00pm.
Midnight Mass at Holy Trinity Church is a truly special occasion for
all in attendance. On your return the perfect nightcap – a warm
mug of hot chocolate and a mince pie to keep out the chill and to
send you off to sleep.

After a full traditional breakfast, take
a gentle stroll around Stratford–uponAvon, possibly through the Bancroft
Gardens to the river or just take a seat
in one of the cosy lounges and relax
for the remainder of the morning.
After a hearty breakfast, it’s unfortunately
time to bid you farewell, unless you wish to
take advantage of the great value additional
night. We hope it has been a truly relaxing
and enjoyable Christmas for you at The
Falcon Hotel.
From 12.30pm we will be serving
our sumptuous six-course Christmas
Day Luncheon, prepared by our
Head Chef and his team.
The remainder of the afternoon
is for your leisure.
In the evening our Chefs will prepare a
delicious buffet for you to enjoy, served
once again in Will’s Place restaurant. The
evening is yours to, play a selection of
board games, cards or merely to sit by
the fire and relax; the choice is yours.
After a relaxing day with fine food, it’s
now time to retire for a well-earned sleep.
Prepared by our talented team of Chefs, a
traditional Boxing Day lunch will be served
between 12.30 and 3.00pm. Please let us
know in advance what time you wish to
dine. To make this lunch time special, our
magician will be on hand to preform magic
in front of your very eyes.
Feel free to make yourselves at home by
watching the Boxing Day movie on TV, or
maybe have a game of cards.
A welcome cup of tea or coffee served
in the afternoon along with a slice of

A buffet dinner is served this evening from
7.00pm, a very relaxed end to the day.

you enjoy the culinary delights prepared for you by our talented
team of chefs, a great way to begin your New Years Eve break
New Years Eve – Saturday 31st December 2016
A hearty breakfast awaits you after a good night’s sleep. The
morning is then yours to relax, perhaps browse the sales or take
in some Warwickshire air, or relax in front of our log fires Our
16th century Alehouse “The Oak Bar” will be open during the
afternoon for a festive drink.
Our Gala black tie dinner will commence at 7.00 pm with a
pre-dinner drink. You will then be escorted through to dinner at
7.30pm to enjoy a sumptuous five-course dinner menu prepared
by our Head Chef and his brigade.
Following dinner there will be dancing to our resident disco until
1.00am, pausing to mark the arrival of the New Year in style at
midnight with the chimes of Big Ben and a rousing chorus of Auld
Lang Syne.
New Years Day – Sunday 1st January 2017
Enjoy a well-deserved lie-in, when a hearty English late breakfast
awaits you after last nights celebrations. Breakfast is served from
9.30am until 12 noon. It’s then time to bid you farewell as you
journey home and consider all of those New Years’ resolutions!

All prices stated are per person and include VAT @ 20%. We have taken every precaution to ensure
that nuts are only in menu items where stated. However, we cannot guarantee that purchased food

Terms and Conditions
All reservations will be treated as provisional and will be held for no more than 10 days pending
receipt of written confirmation and a non-refundable deposit of £15.00 per person. All alterations
to a booking must be confirmed in writing. Full prepayment is required by 1st December 2016.
No deposits will be transferred or used for other products. Once final payment is made no refunds
or credit vouchers will be given. We will however try to resell the places released but give no
guarantee that this will be done.
No refund will be considered on bookings cancelled less than 14 days before the event. Any
alteration to numbers may not be accepted 14 days prior to the event date. In the event of any
function having to be cancelled by the hotel, an alternate date or venue will be offered or a full
refund given. We also reserve the right to move the event to a smaller function suite should
numbers dictate. We reserve the right to change or cancel advertised entertainment due to
circumstances beyond our control.
Any additional service or services must be paid for on the night. No credit facilities will be offered.
All times shown are subject to approval by Local Licensing Authority. All details are correct at time
of going to press but may be subject to alterations without prior notice. All prices quoted include
VAT at the current rate. Please note that shared party tables may apply to groups of less than 8

All accommodation bookings must be confirmed either with a credit card number or pre-paid
4 weeks prior. The management of the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to the hotel.
In addition the hotel reserves the right to charge the organiser, company or individual for any
damages caused by unreasonable behavior.
Where special requests are made, the hotel will endeavor to accommodate them, however, they
