Rockefeller Folk Art Museum. In the late 1940s the LVA made
copy negatives and microfilmed the pages of two privately owned
Lewis Miller sketchbooks. At that time the sketch books were
owned by George Hay Kain of York, Pa. Decades later the
sketchbooks were donated to Abby Aldrick Rocketferller Folk Art
Museum in Wllliamsburg; image is from page 39; on same page,
beneath the drawing ofWytheville, is a drawing of a block of
marble with the inscription ofWytheviUe "In the foreground ofour
picture is a block of marble. Beautiful colour, four feet square.
The marble base is from Charles Crockett Quarry, about two miles
from Wytheville."
