HOW IT WORKS: Individual 5’ wide X 6’ tall
Ballasted Windscreen units are attached to chain
link fence only along their grommeted tops, BUT
the units are installed alternately on both sides of
the fence. The bottom of each section has a
weighted PVC pipe inserted thru its entire width in
a reinforced pocket, engineered to provide correct
ballast to keep the windscreen unit vertical during
lighter winds. It automatically opens up to let
higher velocity winds flow thru, significantly
reducing wind stress on the fence. SINCE HALF OF
THE WINDSCREEN UNITS ARE ON EACH SIDE OF
THE FENCE, HALF OF IT OPENS UP NO MATTER THE
WIND’S DIRECTION.

LENO WINDSCREEN
Open Mesh
Made of leno polypropylene mesh with reinforcing threads to resist tearing and spreading. Open
mesh allows 15% wind passage, so it is popular in higher wind areas. Ultraviolet and mildew
inhibitors built into fabric to extend useful life. Edges finished with four ply hems and grommets are
installed every 18” all around. For additional wind forgiveness, boxed air vents are available for
additional cost. Available in 3 colors: Black, Dark Green, Royal.
Imprinting is not available on this fabric due to its surface characteristics.
POLYPROPYLENE WINDSCREEN Closed Mesh
Allowing only 8% wind passage, this screen has both high wind blockage and
high visual blockage properties. Heavyweight polypropylene fabric is treated for
UV, mildew, and insect resistance. This windscreen is available in Dark Green or
Black color. Grommets are installed all around every 18” through four ply double
stitched hemmed edging. Air vents and center tie downs are recommended
accessories for 9’ size. Available in 6’ and 9’ sizes only, cut to your length.
Imprinting is not available on this fabric due to its surface characteristics.

These sharp multi-color images will outlast other processes. Eliminates the historic problems of digital printing, like
weathering, premature fading, scuffing, and unsightly white mesh backside color. Images will last outdoors as long
as the fabric, something rarely true with digital imprinting. Skilled craftspeople use state-of-the-art graphics
technology to produce custom imprints that are highly resistant to scuffing, sunlight, and weathering. Highly spike,
cleat, and racquet resistant. Our thick double coating process literally bonds the image into the vinyl and completely
masks the underlying fabric color, so image colors are vivid and true.
Chroma-Bond Imprinting is available on our vinyl-surfaced windscreen, cover, and padding products.
