May parlagat na, "Mother-Tongue and National Language in the K to 12 Curricular Enhancement as
Framework for Development: an Internationql Conference'llorkshop", ilo po ay gaganapin sa
Nobyembre 20-22 ng taong ito. Layunin po ng kumpercnsiya-worksyap na mapagbuklod ang mga
nagtuturo ng wikang Filipino at mga wikang rehlunal sa loob at labas ng bansa.
Bukod sa mga Philippine Schools sa Middle East na naka-alinsunod ang kurikulum sa DepEd, itinuturo
rin po ang lvikang Filipino sa Moscow state university at St. Petenburg university ng Rrxya, gayundin
sa osaka university sa bansang Hapon. Itinuturo ang wikang Filipino at Mangyan sa INALCO ng
Pransya, ang ating wikang pambansa at wikang Ilokano sa University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Inaasahang maitampok ang mga ,erl ptactices mula sa mga Pilipino at banyagang guro na nagtuturo ng
ating wika. Inaasahan ding matuto kung paano isinasakatuparan ang MTB-MLE ng mga karatig
Asyaneng bansa bilang esensyal na kasangkapan sa tagumpay ng K to 12 na programa.Lahat nang ito ay
patungo iu pagkamit ng United Nation's Education For All goals nang mapuksa ang kamangmangan,
lotrirupun af kawalan ng payrbansang identidad. Naniniwala kami na ang wika ay susi sa produksyon ng
kaalaman (akademiko, voctech at isports) tungo sa inaasam na industriyalisasyon at kaunlaran ng ating
bansa.
Para sa aming programa, inaasahan naming dumalo bilang Keynote Speaker si LINESCO Director for
Asia and the ia;ifiJ, Dr. Gwang-Jo Kim. Sa mga international speakers, inaasahan namin sina Dr. Elena
Frolova ng Moscow State University, Dr. Masano Oue ng Osaka University' Dr. Alan Williams ng
University'of Melbourne, Dr. Luo Xuanmin ng Tsinghua Universrty, bukod sa iba pang delegado mula sa
rbayong daglr.
