Norcross Wildlife Foundation
The mission of the Norcross Wildlife Foundation Inc. is to
conserve wildlife habitat. It’s primary goal is the perpetuation
of Tupper Hill, the Norcross Wildlife Sanctaury, in Wales,
Massachusetts. Beginninng with 100 acres in 1916, the founder established
Tupper Hill in 1939; the sanctuary has grown from 2,000 acres in 1992 to just
over 8,000 acres today. Norcross also supports the conservation work of other
organizations throughout the country by offering a small grants program and
a no-interest loan fund for land trusts working to protect habitat in their own

Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), founded in 1895, is
a non-profit organization serving Connecticut to protect forests,
parks, walking trails, and open spaces for future generations. CFPA
maintains the 825-mile Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail system. CFPA is also

LAND TRUST
Connecticut Farmland Trust (CFT) is the only private
statewide conservation organization dedicated solely
to permanently protecting Connecticut’s farmland.
Established in 2002, CFT holds agricultural
conservation easements that protect 2,096 acres of
farmland on 26 farms around the state, has assisted partners in the preservation of 789 additional

Founded in 1987, the Middlesex Land Trust is a not-for-profit organization who’s
mission is to preserve open space in Northern Middlesex County by identifying,
protecting, and maintaining significant natural features such as wetlands,
