A Mediterranean Idylle
AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING
As the days get warmer, the Hotel du Collectionneur terraces are a very special place to soak up the
first rays of the sun and the peaceful atmosphere of a courtyard garden right in the heart of Paris.
In mi-April, the hotel is unveiling events on its summer terraces, and this year it is offering guests
an authentic Mediterranean idyll.
THE ANDALUSIAN TERRACE :
CHEF JOËL VEYSSIÈRE’S MARKET-FRESH MENU
Extending out from the lobby, this 800m2 leafy space designed by landscape architect Olivier Riols is one of the largest
open-air hotel gardens. It offers a subtle blend of exotic and varied species : cyprus hedges, rose bushes and palm trees are
grouped around a granite overflow fountain.
Chef Joël Veyssière showcases seasonal products from the Mediterranean and Provence. As a starter, let
yourself be tempted by a delicate onion tart pissaladière-style, served with marinated sardines, roasted
tomatoes and purple artichokes. Follow it with seared tuna, cooked/raw vegetables and courgette in all its
guises ! Toast your meal with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rich champagne.

Lunch menu : From 38 euros, 12pm to 3pm
Dinner menu : From 53 euros, 7pm to 10:30pm
Sunday Brunch : 12:30pm to 3pm. From 65 euros,
28 euros for children aged 4 to 12 and free for children under 4.

THE PURPLE BAR TERRACE : THE VEGAN BAR
The terrace adjoining the Purple Bar welcomes you daily in cosy and intimate surroundings.
At lunch time or aperitif time alike, let our head bartender Alexandra Giraud and her team surprise you as
they are partnering G’Vine this year to create new tastings on a vegan theme, combining
cocktails and gastronomy.
G’Vine is French gin made from grapes infused with wine flowers. A tribute to French expertise and
sophistication, G’Vine gin is distilled in Cognac, France, from grape spirit. G’Vine is totally distinctive,
adding a fresh twist to traditional spirit-making and showcasing the classic gin & tonic.
This space, with its reworked authentic decor featuring a fusion of well-being and enjoyment, offers dishes
based on fruit, vegetables and vegetable protein. Guests can get away from it all and enjoy totally new
culinary experiences which are unique, surprising and always delicious.
At teatime, the Chef ’s herb garden is at our guests’ disposal. Select herbs for a bespoke instant herbal or
green tea to suit your tastes and preferences.

Enjoy the charming setting of the Parc Monceau, just a stone’s throw from the hotel, for a vegan picnic

OPERA GALLERY :
A UNIQUE COLLABORATION
Founded in 1994, Opera Gallery has become, over the years, an extensive
network of art galleries in the world, it currently has twelve spaces in Asia,
Middle East, Europe and America. In March 2015, the new Parisian gallery
opened Faubourg Saint Honoré, a few steps of the Elysee.
This season, the Hotel du Collectionneur is launching a new
collaboraiton with Opera Gallery, which will provide an art tour inside
the hotel and on the terraces. You can see works by artists like Valay
Shende, Mauro Corda, Young Deok Seo and David Mach.
This exceptional partnership offers further proof that the hotel
and art are inextricably linked.
A MUSICAL AMBIANCE IN THE
PURPLE BAR
The smart, retro feel creates a distinctive a distinctive ambiance in the
Purple Bar. The unique decor boasting gilded mouldings, cosy alcoves,
cut-glass chandeliers and fine wood panelling conjures up the sumptuous
Parisian soirées of the 1930s.
The Purple Bar plays host to DJ Céline Bommel on
Thursday nights from 7pm to 11pm.
