FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant Kicks Off ‘Gift of Knowledge’ CSR Campaign 28.02.2016 – D’Touch International’s Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant “BECAUSE WE CARE” program has kick started 2016 Charity Campaign tagged ‘Gift of Knowledge’ to provide the less privileged in the communities an equal opportunities to deprived and talented students to reach their potentials and to facilitate continuous learning for seekers of knowledge beyond geographical boundaries. With the vision to spread the spirit of “Loving Sunday” this CSR Campaign along with D’Touch International’s Miss Malaysia will set the last Sunday of every month with a mission to provide “Gift of Knowledge”. The Miss Malaysia Beauty Queens will put their effort in spending time on visits to set up book shelves and books to the charitable homes to encourage reading. This campaign will also see the beauty queens promoting education and knowledge with activities like reading session or outdoor educational tour. On February 28th, the first Loving Sunday, embarked this charity campaign at Ti-Ratana Welfare Society with 7 former Miss Malaysia were there to express love to the orphans by spending quality time and donating relevant items and supplies to enrich the lives of the children. Meeting with the Founder & Advisor, Chief Rev. K Dhammaratana who has quoted about the campaign “Thought the act is simple but it’s came from a great heart” “It’s important that we take up initiatives to support people to make positive contributions in society to raise the standard of the next generation, knowledge is the best gift ever.” Commenting on the ‘Gift of Knowledge’ initiative by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, the President of D’Touch International that to date produced 100 Miss Malaysia.
