A one hour stroll through the nearby tea
plantation with guidance on how they
grow tea.
A great way to start the day, with an hour
of nature spotting. Vythiri has 60 species
of butterfly and 70 species of birds. It
should be noted that on the forest walks
you might encounter some leeches. You
might like to bring along leech repellent
socks and inspect spray.
55 kms from Vythiri and a 5 hour activity,
you will get the chance to see elephants,
spotted deer and sloth bears, to mention
a few.
1.5 kms from Vythiri and a 2 hour activity,
this natural lake is surrounded by hills and
meadows, providing a picnic spot or a
boat ride.
30 kms from Vythiri and a 4 hour activity,
this is the largest earth dam in India at
about 3,500 acres. Good opportunity for
picnic or boat rise.
8 kms from Vythiri and a 1.5 hour activity,
provides great view point of the
picturesque hills and cascading streams.
32 kms from Vythiri, these waterfalls are
worth a visit.
