NORTH PARK APOSTOLIC CHURCH “KINGDOM CONNECTION” SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2013 NORTH PARK APOSTOLIC CHURCH SWAM (Singles With A Mission) VISION STATEMENT We are called to be a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-dependent church with simplicity and excellence as we love God with all our being and love all others with the same passion. The Vision of the North Park Apostolic Church can be found in the following principles: To love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind through our worship and our lifestyle (Mark 12:30). To love each other with the same passion and fervency (Mark 12:31), so that all people would know that we are true disciples of Christ through the love we exhibit one to the other (John 13:35). To fulfill the Great Commission, by loving the unsaved souls of people we know, namely friends, relatives, acquaintances and neighbors (Mark 16:15) through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 3:16). MISSION STATEMENT To passionately pray, preach, teach and live through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is His greatest act of love toward us. We will attract and win souls to Christ through the power of His love as it applies to the saving of souls, healing, restoration and forgiveness. The love of God and the demonstration of that love through His people is the answer to a fallen world and the effects sin has on people. We will accomplish this through prayer and sharing the gospel as a Christ-centered body ministry as we utilize our God-given gifts in G UPCOMING SWAM EVENT: WE NEED A THEME! Let your creative juices flow, and submit your idea to Sis. Gloria Brooks, Marian Reece, or Lena Swindle by September 22. The prize: a free ticket to the event! Start saving for the SWAM year-end extravaganza in December! More information coming soon! SWAM MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to provide a ministry to young or single adults which foster individual wholeness through a relationship with God. SWAM GOALS Singles With A Mission ministers to and with single and single-again people. These people happen to be single by chance, change, or choice. SWAM'S goals of this ministry are: 1. To provide opportunities to build and improve our walk and relationship with God. 2. To provide opportunities of outreach ministry to our community and make a real difference in our city. 3. To provide opportunities to meet other Christian single adults and encourage and cultivate God-honoring relationships.
