Approximately 1/3 of the parkland is developed for active uses. The other 2/3 is preserved as natural areas, some accessed by trails. Your cooperation in abiding by the rules will be greatly appreciated by your fellow park users. Park Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. It’s illegal to: 1. Possess, display or use intoxicating liquors in the following parks: Black Dog Park, Crystal Lake West Park (except boat launch), Crystal Lake Beach and beach viewing areas. 2. Possess, display or use intoxicating liquors in the following areas within all parks: Within 30 feet of youth fields and activities, parking lots and access roads, inside or on adult fields for all adult leagues, all recreation buildings and warming houses (except by special permit). 3. Allow dogs without a leash (except in Alimagnet Dog Park and inside hockey rinks). 4. Park or operate a motor vehicle including mopeds or motorcycles except on roads or designated parking areas. 5. Use or possess glass containers or bottles of any type. 6. Golf or play any games except in areas provided. 7. Injure any plant, flower, shrub, tree, grounds or other property. 8. Remain in any park area after closing. 9. Litter or dump - including pet waste. The full City of Burnsville Park Ordinance and City Code are available at the www.burnsville.org website.
