THE TANK MUSEUM
The Tank Museum provides a unique setting for
a wide range of corporate and private events.
Your function will be held amongst the world’s
finest and most historically significant collection
of tanks.
As a registered charity and Museum of the Royal
Armoured Corp and Royal Tank Regiment, all
revenues raised are reinvested into the Museum,
to develop our exhibitions and maintain our
collections for future generations to enjoy.

Bovington is within close travelling distance
of both Bournemouth and Southampton
International Airports.
SEA
Neighbouring locations Bournemouth, Poole,
Weymouth and Southampton provide access via
ferry from the continent and Channel Islands.

a stone’s throw away from Dorset’s stunning
95 mile stretch of Jurassic coastline.
ROAD
The Tank Museum is situated in South Dorset, and
is clearly signposted from Dorchester, Blandford,
Poole, Bere Regis and Wool. The Museum offers
large, free parking facilities to all guests and
delegates.
RAIL
Dorset benefits from a well-connected rail
networking link. The Tank Museum is within walking
distance of Wool station, which is on the mainline
between London Waterloo and Weymouth.

The Tank Museum’s dedicated Events Team will
be delighted to help you make the most of this
historic and inspiring venue. Our facilities can
cater for 10 to 400 delegates, helping you design
the perfect bespoke package for any occasion.
The Sherman and
Churchill Suite
Adjacent to one another, with adjoining doors and
their own private WC, the Sherman and Churchill
Suite are the ideal venue for conferences and
lectures*. Both rooms include full AV equipment
and free Wi-Fi access.

The Tamiya Hall
Surrounded by a collection of Cold War tanks and
situated next to the Battlegroup Afghanistan
exhibition, the multi-functional Tamiya Hall is
an ideal space for larger events from concerts to
black-tie banquets. Our NAAFI themed café and
bar, situated in the hall, can also be incorporated
into your function.
The Balcony and
Mezzanine
Overlooking the idyllic Purbeck hills on one side
and our major exhibition, the Tank Story Hall, on
the other, our balcony area is a wonderful space for
functions such as drinks receptions and corporate
lunches. The space also boasts a grandstand view
of the Kuwait Arena which is used for displays and
corporate experiences, along with easy access to
our modern restaurant.

The Outside Spaces
The Tank Museum is based on a vast site of
fields and tarmacked areas which can be hired in
sections or as a whole.
Offering ample free-parking, running water and
an outside PA system, the Museum has hosted
festivals and fun days to large sporting events
using our outdoor facilities.
